Date of travel is November 26. I had my visa appointment on September 10th, and it has been 25 days since. I don't see any update on the visa status and VFS is of no help either.

I had emailed the consulate on October 1st, but got an auto generated reply stating the obvious.

How long does it generally take to process visas in the Bangalore consulate ? I am getting worried as i have used some dummy bookings in the application and i need to book the real ones soon.

PS: one caveat here is, i pursued an agent who booked VFS appointments via his company Mail ID ( i wasn't aware of this rule, neither was he), so after explaining- VFS guys asked me to write an affidavit stating email is mine and i used it to just book. Will that affect my chances of approval ?

I was a lurker in this sub and got influenced into investing in my shoes for better comfort. Really like the asics GT-2000 15, for my lesser arched feet.

Should i buy from store in India ( getting at full price of ₹ 15000), order online from Myntra or wait for my upcoming travel and buy from Italy ?

2 days in Salzburg ( 1 day for Hallstatt, 2 evenings and 1 day for in and around Salzburg)

2 days for Vienna ( 2 days and 2 evenings)

Is this time enough ? Also what are some interesting things to try around December ?

Current cards : Regalia gold ( ~ 50k points)
Niyo global zero forex debit card ( DCB)

Please suggest if i should apply for any particular cards to get better rewards/ offers.

I have around 15k USD invested via Alpaca ( Through INDMoney). I want to move these assets ( stock + wallet balance) to IBKR, as i see better brokerage rate and ease of usage.

1. What is the process to initiate transfer ?
2. What would be more cost effective, selling fully in INDMoney or direct transfer ?
3. Can i try to book losses to set off capital gains in INDMoney and just transfer remaining portfolio ?
