I recently visited my brother's house and was surprised that his pantry is stocked with prepared boxed mixes, a lot from King Arthur but for a myriad of other things too, although he likes to cook and prepares many things from scratch. Got me wondering if boxed mixes are in my future, I'd like to try some. I cook mainly from scratch but it would be nice on those days you just can't be bothered or don't have the time. Do you have an favorites to recommend? I am located in the US for reference. Rice A Roni anyone?
I know that Costco is recommended but I do not have one near me so I am going to local hearing store and wondering what kind of questions I should ask to be sure I am getting the right device/service. Afraid of being disappointed and paying a lot for something I won’t use because it’s
not comfortable or too complicated to use correctly.
Visiting the mother ship today in Vermont. Any recommendations for gadgets / equipment from them that you have and love that I might not realize I need😆? (Mine is their espresso powder and parchment squares) Thanks in advance.
Does anyone have any experience brewing at farmers markets for either cup sales or samples? I’d like to know what method/process has worked or hasn’t worked well?
Looking for certified organic beans. Any recommendations? Which countries are good candidates to search?
Returns require shipping to China.
I bought a refractometer from DiFluid directly on their website because I thought that if I needed customer service, its better to by from the manufacturer.
As it turns out I decided that this was not the right item for me, so I asked to return it, unboxed and unused.
I was told it had to be returned to their address in China, which is very costly; so going to end up keeping the item rather than half the value of the item to return it.
I hate to say this but wish I had purchased from Amazon instead.
Am I the only one that makes of a version of shepherds pie called ‘Straw Hat’? I make it with ground beef, creamed corn and mashed potatoes. Just wondering the origin of the name and where it came from. Maybe it’s only my family?
My husband just asked me why recipes say to add the eggs one at a time. I don’t have an explanation. Anyone know why?
