Hey y'all, I'm a Houston-based indie-folk singer-songwriter recording some new music and I'd like to incorporate some instruments I can't personally play very well. It will be an acoustic-focused album and I'm particularly looking for someone who can play flute as well as someone who plays pedal steel, or lap steel, although pedal steel is preferred.

I played several other Martins and Taylors more expensive than this used Martin Road Series from 2015, but the latter just felt and sounded much better. The mahogany gives it a nice depth and the Fishman pickups sound great. It's on consignment for $650 with a soft gig bag but I think I'm going to come back tomorrow and offer $500 for it. There's a small ding or two along the edge of the guitar at its base and it's 11 years old.

What do y'all think? I'm surprised by how good this guitar sounds and feels for the price.

I have a Martin D-28 that I plan on keeping at home for recording (and pampering) while this would be my guitar for gigging and traveling. I'm surprised by the weight of the guitar, which I guess is due to the pickups.

Happier than a pig in chocolate (and shrimp)

I'm looking for a relatively cheap armless desk chair I can use for playing guitar/recording and saw this on Facebook marketplace. I don't recognize the model...does it look legit? Any idea what it is?

Wow — the chocolate is rich and flavorful…the textures: gooey fudge, moist cake and crunchy chocolate pieces. So, so good!
