Looking for worsted weight yarn in a wool/acrylic blend

I used Soft Classic Solid Yarn by Loops & Threads (100% acrylic) for a baby sweater and I now want to do a matching mom sweater but the reason I used acrylic is because babies grow so fast that I didn't want to buy expensive yarn. But for an adult who isn't going to grow out of it in a matter of weeks I'd like something a little nicer and warmer.

Doesn't have to be exclusively wool and acrylic, just something that is a bit nicer, will wear and last better over the years too.

With that being said i'm a girl on a budget and am in Canada.

I'm considering checking out hobbii? Or potentially using the Lion Brand Wool-Ease Solid Yarn??

Any suggestions would be great!

Looking for more songs that sound like this song at 1:20 onward

Around 1:20 this song really picks up and it's my current running song obsession. Are there other songs with similar vibes? I'm struggling to find any that really feel the same. Doesn't have to be reggaeton or spanish at all. Just the same or similar upbeat and strong beat to run to.

Want opinions on fully automatic coffee machines, particularly Smeg>

My friend has the Smeg Fully Automatic Coffee Machine with Steam Wand. Everytime I visit and stay over I absolutely fall in love with it. Costco has a really good price for it too.

Right now I'm living a life of stovetop espresso or instant espresso because i'm lazy and not hugely picky with my coffee. I'm debating getting this but am curious what other products are out there. So many espresso/coffee machines have the full portafilter thing (idk if that's the right name), and I have zero desire for this. I want something fast, stupid easy and relatively simple to keep clean.

The reviews for the smeg are really mixed but the current costco price in canada is pretty unbeatable, especially compared to what research i've done on other brands.

Thoughts? recommendations?

Colour work tension on baby sweater

I’m not 100% sure what I’m looking for here, but I’d love some advice!

I’m knitting the Easy Colour Mix Sweater (3-month size), and this is my very first time doing colourwork. Overall, I’m really happy with it—my floats look great (if I do say so myself 😅)—but it’s pretty obvious that my blue sections are pulling too tight.

It’s just acrylic yarn, so I’m wondering: is this worth frogging, or would you keep going?

Part of me wants to just continue and consciously try to loosen my tension as I go, but I’d love to hear what more experienced knitters would do. I don’t mind if it isn’t perfect, and I have ADHD, so every time I frog a project the chances of me getting discouraged and never finishing increase. 😂

My single colour and colour work gauges matched perfectly so I’m wondering if my colourwork tension is just tighter in the round.

Would it make sense to switch to a larger needle size for the colourwork at this point, or is it better to keep the same needles and focus on relaxing my floats?

Any thoughts are appreciated!

Just watched S9 for the first time. Is Heather really that bad?

I know there's a million posts on Season 9 but I can't really find anyone who doesn't absolutely despise Heather. While I think she's snooty and has many un-attractive moments of being elitiste, I don't totally disagree with some of her takes with Shannon.

Tamra is always insufferable, I don't expect otherwise, she knows how to perform for this show, and perform she does. Vicky drives me nuts but she was much more tolerable this season. I like Lizzie.

I genuinely don't get why Shannon went to Heathers unannounced, it seemed so confrontational, and she kept saying she was reaching out for help, but it came across very accusatory. Let's be honest Heather probably was talking shit, but if someone showed up to any other housewifes' door I don't think their reaction would have been any better. They're both terrible communicators. I feel there is an underlying feeling of competition between them and they both just don't know how to be super honest and communicative, they were both talking in weird riddles. You're not going to get anywhere like that, especially with previous tension.

Terry and David is whatever. I think they're both scumbags, David seems like a real asshole in every single scene, and I think Terry thinks he's that guy but he's not that guy! I honestly don't care, they can call each other every word under the sun for pen!s for all I care.

Generally I like Shannon and generally I like Heather. I have many moments liking and disliking both of them. They both seem like wet towels honestly, and I would not want to be at a cocktail hour with either of them... Harsh but after this season that would be a big no thanks.

So i'm just curious if anyone agrees with this. The only takes I can find online are big heather hate and I don't totally agree. I get it but I am way less polarized on this season.
