Any other advice welcome. I'm working on cutting down weight a bit at the moment now as well. I like the mustache and short beard combo but feel like it makes me look older. I'm 26. Thanks!
I have this old ass PTAC unit that doesn't seem to be cooling. It will turn on for a few minutes, then cut off. It doesn't seem to heat either and only really "works" on the fan only setting. However, when I hit the fan only button, this fan on the inside doesn't turn either. Any advice on where to start? I really don't know much at all about ACs but this is a unit in my garage so it's not a huge deal if I mess it up I guess lol, but I would definitely like to fix it if possible. Thanks !

So I'm back, I took your advices and changed all the lighting in my house to softer warm lights. I haven't done much else since I've been pretty busy and trying to save some money , but I'm wondering what all can be said about my living room. Something about it feels a bit off for me. Maybe it's crowded? Of course , I only have a few hand me down sofas. I do plan on getting new furniture at some point , but money is a little tight. Does anyone have some suggestions to make this living room a bit more "lively"

For the first time, I will be hosting a guest on Airbnb. They only have 1 review which is positive ; but the review is under a different name. I have never done this before and I am renting a room in my home. I'm doing the thing where it allows you to accept or deny requests. How can I know if a guest is trustworthy? Does Airbnb background check guests? Sorry this is new to me. Thanks !
Is this possible? It seems the options are wait for the phone to ring , or work for NSPs who take months to pay small ticket jobs. Work is pretty slow these days (one man in a van) mostly auto but doing commercial and residential as well. Have had pretty crappy experiences with NSPs thus far. Business was fine for a few years , but we've got a new scammer problem in my area which has been drowning out our Google listing and slowing down the day to day stuff. I will still say it's "ok" but would like to get more work. I'm spending a lot of time twiddling my thumbs lately.
So I left these raw ground beef patties in the fridge overnight. (Uncovered ) I came to them this morning and there is a big red indent where some of the plastic was covering the patty. Is this safe to cook? It was refrigerated, but only partially covered
The sell by date is tomorrow , and I bought it yesterday , cooked 2 of the patties and decided to cook these other two today
Hey all, so I've been at my house about a year now. For some reason, I keep finding roaches (not german, maybe oriental?) in one particular room in my house. I rarely see them outside that room. I do see them outside the house at night, not a ton of them, but one or two stragglers at a time.
Is there any particular reason why they would show up so frequently in one room of the house? I find at least one dead one a week in that room. It's weird and kinda freaking me out since I hate those things. I have pest control come to my house quarterly. There was a pretty large opening in the closet which I sealed. Perhaps theres some other place they're coming in from in that room?
