Booking Alaskan cruise on the Royal Princess....Which deck is best suited for balcony? Dolphin, Caribe, Baja, or Aloha?

Wife and I have never been on this cruise line, but trying to decide best placement.

We've decided on balcony room for sure, but not sure of the best deck, or forward/mid/aft, etc.

Thanks for any tips!

Any chance of deluxe going below $50 any time soon?

I know Lego games drop pretty fast, but the Deluxe edition for $50 is almost at 50% off, which tends to be the spot a lot of people wait for.

September has a hell of a lineup, but I'm about wrapped up with Palworld and need an August game to hold me over.

Also curious how LotDK performs on PC for those of you playing that way. Any current bugs, etc, or have most been sorted by now?

Is the 2018 Fuel Pump recall in a better state now?

Have to get my annual freebie safety inspection and oil change today, but when I scheduled the services the other day I saw they had the fuel pump recall listed as an option again, so I added that as well.

From what I've seen the past few years this has been going on, seems people have more trouble with their car POST getting the recall fixed than they had before. Have they upgraded the components needed now/techs have more experience in what they're doing on this repair, etc?

My car is coming up on 50k miles and hasn't had any major issues yet (knock on wood), so just wondering if I should forgo having this done. For all I know, they may just decline me the service anyways and say "we're only doing this for the cars that have been affected" (what they told me a couple years ago when I went in specifically for this).

How to takedown stock Prodigy 3.5 guide rod without a tool?

I have the EGW 3.5 one to install (which they made a little Allen wrench hole), but the factory guide rod lacks the hex in front like larger models to unscrew and pull out while disassembling.

I see someone has this little half-circle magnet tool for $16.50, but I’m really not trying to buy that.

Difficulty in fitting/upgrading thumb safety on Prodigy?

Context: I recently had my Prodigy 3.5 taken to a gunsmith for trigger job and new ignition kit install with parts I provided, as I don't have the proper tools and wasn't savvy on doing it myself and messing up hundreds of dollars worth of parts.

My mistake fell upon picking it up yesterday. The job was done very well to my liking and everything seemed in good order, but.... I didn't mess with the thumb safety at all while I was there talking with him. Wasn't until I got home later that night and was messing around with it that I noticed the safety didn't fully engage. Extremely tight and barely moves up, but it won't make it past the retention spring all the way before falling back down due to gravity.

I don't doubt the gunsmith's work. He's extremely praised around these parts, so maybe fitting the thumb safety to match the new sear from the ignition kit slipped his mind or something, idk (he's also in the progress of a big move). No other clue of why that wouldn't have been functional upon pick-up, as he could have even done it while doing the rest and tacked that onto my fee.

So, now I don't have a functioning thumb safety for what will be a carry gun, that also just got a light trigger job done. Grip safety still works, sure, but the whole thing isn't ideal.

The plus side is that the factory safety was the last upgrade I'd planned to do anyways, but, I'm kind of forced to do it earlier than intended now. I figured I could at least try to get practice in myself on the factory ambi safety (grab some small tools/files from Harbor Freight) before attempting to install the $150 EGW one (still need to order).... but if it proves too questionable, I will likely have that installed by someone as well.

Anyone else’s Aragorn fit weird? Feels like a warped breastplate.

I’ve pressed the breastplate as much as I can on the torso, and by the time I place the cape and head on as far as they will go, his headpiece barely stays on.

The bottom of the plate seems like it should fall closer (or slightly over) the waistline. Makes him currently look like a bad beer gut.

Worth a shout to Lego to send a replacement?

Is this auto quote too good to be true? -Virginia-

My wife and I (both 36, no kids) have had Geico ever since moving here in 2017. I got a new CR-V in 2018, and she got a 2025 RAV4 end of '24. Currently, our Geico insurance (for base coverage) is around $231/mo. No tickets, good/safe driver record, both veterans, etc.

Myself and a couple co-workers got talking insurance in the office and I got curious, so I checked out Progressive. Their quote (with as MUCH factual info I could input) was only $466 every SIX months. That's crazy. That's 6 months for 2 months worth of Geico payments at our current cost.

I got even more curious and tacked on home insurance just to see. It came out to $1685 (which is about what we pay now, and weirdly, we had Progressive in the past but they dropped us a couple years back with no reason why...never made a claim), and dropped auto for both cars to $407/6 months.

Is this offer to good to be true, or is this indeed correct? I could've sworn I checked Progressive for insurance a few years ago and it was more expensive than what Geico was charging that it wasn't even worth looking into more. But if I can save upwards of $1300 every 6 months, why the hell not?!

Is the Infinity Ignition kit a true drop-in?

Just curious if anyone who has one can confirm. It would be going into the 3.5" compact.

If it indeed does, I think I've found my ignition kit and trigger via one site, and guide rod kit/slide stop via EGW.

Have they ironed out the issues with the 3.5" models? Required upgrades?

Found a solid deal on the 3.5", but just want to know if and how much I'll need to spend on extra upgrades from EGW, Atlas, etc.

Or..... if I should just go with my original top option of TRP CC (and might spend less in the long run). Everything about that ones checks all the boxes aside from CAPACITY. But, I'm honestly a big fan of it and the Prodigy's aesthetics.

Good price for Stacatto CS w/ Infinity Trigger and Ignition upgrades?

Got my eye on a local F2F private sale and wondering what's a solid price. His ad lists $2450 (optic + light more $$$, but I have my own)

DOA Arms Norfolk/VA Beach.... how do I request an FFL Transfer with them?

I've usually done transfers at The Armory in VA Beach, but realized DOA was just a tad closer. The Armory had a form I could fill out and submit on their site, but I'm not seeing anything for DOA. I imagine if I call, they'll want some info, but I literally don't know the fine detail specifics of the handgun aside form the site description.

It may not be an issue, and I can just order it and select them as the transfer dealer, but I'm trying to do things "by the book" off FL Gun Exchange's website of "notify your FFL prior to buying from us"

Thanks for any help!

Prodigy 3.5" or TRP CC 9mm?

Trying to decide something for a new everyday carry.

My buddy just bought a 4.25" Prodigy Comp last year, and I really liked the look and feel, and it shot pretty good too (brand new, so it def needs a bit of break-in).

I never looked much into the TRP until my dad brought it up as the only thing that really peaked his interest to add to his vast collection. I wasn't interested in another full size 1911, but when I saw the CC model, I just liked how everything looked in a tight little, quality package.

Since the Prodigy 3.5" variant is "newer," I see it doesn't have that many sales going on, so the price I'd pay is close to what I found a Vault TRP CC for, at the price of $1300.

Purchased aachthor's instructions off Rebrickable and placed my orders in last night. Got majority of what I needed from one seller for $30~ (this was also my first time finding out some other sellers require lot minimums, which totally threw off what could've been a relatively affordable build buying from one person), but had to order the last few items off eBay to complete the build.

I had full intention of going with black, but had no clue this color scheme existed too, and a seller had 2 for $15 so I grabbed them. I feel this scheme will add a bit more complexity and character to the MOC...what do you guys think?
