Double checking, is this a bladder snail?

Threw some dying plant leaves into a 5 gal bucket with old tank water, now there's several of these little guys who must have hatched. I'm trying to figure out what to do with them now.

My boy seems to have lost some weight, would you be concerned?

Here's a photo of him from tonight and my weight history, including a weight from tonight. I kind of meant to weigh him before every meal but have done so inconsistently. I also keep forgetting to weigh his meals but he gets fed small rats from Layne Labs once a month. He last ate on 23Jun. I didn't notice a poop but I almost never find them, he's in a bioactive setup and they disappear pretty quickly. He eats around the 20th of the month, so it looks like some of the higher recorded weights were close after a meal, which makes sense.

I have had issues with the scale before needing to be zeroed a second time to be accurate. Tonight my procedure was, put bowl on scale, tare, put snake in bowl, record weight. Then, noticing the lower weight, I turned the scale off and back on. I grabbed a can of cat food and weighed it on a different scale I have, then I weighed it on the snake scale and the weights were within a gram. Then, I weighed the snake again with the same procedure as before and the second weight was within a gram of the first weight. So, having done my little check, I don't think the scale is inaccurate.

My gut instinct is to monitor closer but no vet visit yet. I want to weigh him once the day before meal time and once in-between (say 2 weeks after) for a while and see how it changes. And I want to start weighing his prey and make sure I haven't gotten a run of smaller than average rats or something. Thoughts?

[WIP] Making progress. And learning I hate confetti and pre-printed patterns. Tips?

Pattern is some random butterflies from Amazon that came as a kit, hopefully zoomed in enough to post. I have spent quite a bit of time just getting this little section done. Any tips for managing confetti patterns?

Tips to cool down cool side of enclosure?

I just put in a ziploc bag with ice wrapped in a towel and set it on top of his cool side so it maybe won't get too dirty (bioactive setup). His warm side is 90F air temp and the cool side is sitting at 85F air temp because this room gets hot AF in the summer with the heating elements. The room temp is 80F right now but I'm trying to lower it. Heat source is a dual setup halogen and DHP, both on thermostats (halogen only runs during daylight hours, DHP makes up what the halogen can't do and runs through the night).

I found this over 20 years ago in Eugene Oregon in a tilled farm field. Have never been sure what it is exactly.

Should I get a mystery snail or a few bladder snails?

I have a 14 gallon planted tank with a betta right now and I want cleanup crew friend(s). I'm fully prepared for the mystery snail to be an actual pet, I'll feed it its own food and give calcium and such. They're cute and I really like the golden ones. It would just be one mystery snail due to bioload. But they get so big and I'm wondering if a few bladder snails would be better about things like cleaning algae and diatoms off of plant leaves. I don't want the mystery snail to go around breaking leaves off due to size. But I also don't want a population explosion if I get bladder snails (I know, I know, don't overfeed and they'll in theory be fine, but I've never experienced it myself so I'm still nervous). What would you recommend for the situation of "I want a cool looking pet that also cleans things and doesn't destroy my plants"?

Getting a mystery snail soon, is this a good dietary plan?

I've read about snello and while it seems cost effective and nutritionally complete I don't know that I'm ready to deal with home made snail food right now. I was thinking of feeding hikari crab cuisine every other day and a blanched veggie (zucchini, spinach, carrot, etc) once a week. Am I missing anything else a snail would need? The plan is one mystery snail and one betta in a 14 gallon cube.

Title says it really. I know we have a feeding command and I thought we had a bot reply for transitioning from live to frozen food but I don't remember what it is.
