I hardly ever find Murano locally but I found this amazing one yesterday at a great price. It measures 4x3”.
I just got the Ludlow in Brown Loved Leather. I’ve kind of been wanting a Ludlow for awhile but the brown loved leather made me pull the trigger. So far I love it. I do think brass hardware would have paired better than silver. I can fit my 15” MacBook Air, 13” Kindle Scribe ColorSoft, Coach Notebook, glasses case, Coach pencil case, my wallet and a few other misc items in it. It does bulge at the bottom some when it’s that loaded up.
They put it in a clear plastic bag and threw in a single sheet of bubble wrap in a large box. The tail, beak, and top notch were pulverized. They claim they refunded the money but I haven’t seen it yet. I buy a lot of vintage glass on there and it’s all been wrapped well for the most part. I’m so disappointed.
It measures around 18” tall and 9” wide at the widest point. It’s much more substantial in person than it looks.
I just got these today. They still have a partial original label.
I found this vase at goodwill. I haven’t been able to figure out what it is. I did find another one on WorthPoint that had a gold foil label with a crown in the center but the photo was too blurry to make out the text. Does anyone have any feedback on what it might be?
Recent find 11.5” tall
New find. It’s measures 10”x11”
Thrift find. It’s signed Oggetti Murano. I believe this one is by Mario Badioli. There were several makers but the style most closely matches Badioli. It measures 14” tall.
His name is Rexy. We’ve been babysitting our neighbors doodle frequently for a couple of years and loved her so much we decided to get one of our own.
I had the latest paperwhite but I’ve been kind of wanting a larger display and with the Prime bundle offer and 20% off with trade in I couldn’t pass up the chance. I got the bundle with the Scribe Colorsoft, leather cover, and charger.
So far I love it. The size is amazing. I won’t use it much for note taking but it works incredibly well from what I’ve tried. The display is very nice and feels like reading print media. It does weigh more than I’m used to but still better than a hardcover book.
The background on the display does have a bit of graininess but as I understand it that’s a byproduct of the color display. I knew about this beforehand so it’s not a huge deal. I have tried graphic novels on it and they look pretty good.
The display has auto-brightness which I’m loving. It seems like it gets bright enough to read but not so bright that you really notice the light.
Overall, it’s a great device although I wouldn’t personally pay the normal price for it.
I recently found this Elio Raffaeli dolphin. This one is signed Oggetti Italy and also has a faded Oggetti label. Some pieces that were imported by Oggetti were signed Oggetti Italy instead of by the artist. It measures 15” tall and the dolphin is 17” from nose to tail. It weighs around 15 pounds.
I picked this up last month. It’s pretty large at 18.5” tall and 12” long.
I’m so excited and lucky to have found this. It measures 10.5” tall and almost 10” wide and probably weighs around 15 pounds.
It’s 26” tall and super heavy. Pictures don’t do it justice.
I purchased this recently. The person I got it from said they got it from Oggetti which mostly sold Murano but I’m not sure if it’s Murano. I’m just wondering if anyone has any suggestions on what it might be?
