Modified Rack

Hi all, recently I’ve been finishing my basement. Part of this is installing drop ceiling which makes the overall space’s height lower. To compensate, my father in law and I cut about 4 inches of my power rack. It actually came out nice, and you can barely tell it was modified. The issue now is that the lat pulldown that was attached has a cable that is too long. We’re thinking of cutting the cable and recrimping the ends. I’ve seen a few kits for this on Amazon, but lack of reviews make me hesitate to buy. Wondering if anyone has experience with this and can recommend a specific kit or separate tools and materials?

Rockband 2 Drums

Hi all, just started getting YARG. Things have been great overall with guitars. One issue I've been dealing with is with my Rockband 2 drum kit, I have not successfully hit a kick pedal note that is accompanied with a pad note. I've tried recalibrating and tweaking the profile settings, but no success. Anyone else have this issue with a Rockband drum kit?

I already know it’s too high. But this was the only place I could put it. My wife hated our old curved tv and would only let me get a new one if it was a frame-esque one. Did a little project of getting a 55”Hisense Canvas, and snuck a Fire TV cube behind along with an extra HDMI that’s routed to the outlet on the left. Hooked it up with a Samsung HW-800D soundbar and subwoofer because it was the slimmest I could find to appease the wife. Overall happy with the setup but wanted to get thoughts.

Note: bottom looks crooked because we put in a mantle too early when it was still slightly moist. That will be getting replaced soon.
