Prediction: we are on the cusp of a boom in elder suicide.
I think that within the next ten years the US is going to see a huge number of elder people taking their own lives, rather than facing the shitty reality of dying of old age in this country. I also predict that if the current administration or one like it stays in power, it will be a phenomenon that is hugely underreported, and possibly promoted behind the scenes like the government did with crack in the 80s.
Filipino or Indonesian martial arts
Hi everyone, I'm a Hollyweirdo who is looking for anyone with any amount of experience in Kali, Silat or both. Ideally I'd like to find an instructor in the area, but would also be happy to practice with anyone of any experience level.
Almost 55 guy, total beginner, needs advice
I bought the following recently, all from The Ordinary:
Multipurpose Eye Serum
Multipurpose Peptide HA Serum
Natural Moisturizing Factors Phytocaramides
And then, on impulse, bought:
Argirerine Solution 10%
Multi Peptide Copper Peptides 1% Serum
I'm a 55 year old caucasian man, and my goal is to reduce wrinkles and look fresher from the beard line up (because beard). Crow's feet and forehead wrinkles are my main complaint. For now, I'm using the first three products in order. I find my face looks greasy afterward until I blot it with tissue.
I have no real idea what I'm doing, so any advice would be very appreciated!

Book hotel in advance or...?
Hello everyone, I am in Florida, and am visiting Belgium (specifically Leuven) in the fall. I am trying to decide if I should book lodgings in Leuven in advance, thus making it my home base for the duration of the visit, or wait until I am there and book by the night, in case I find myself wanting to stay the night elsewhere. I'm only there for a little less than a week, need to be tight with my budget, and have no plans set except for on one day. Any advice or opinions would be helpful.
Hello! Flemish was my mother 's native language, however any grasp of it I had in childhood is gone. Ill be visiting Leuven soon, and would love to meet someone who could help me with the language. Let me buy you a coffee!
