Even my dad( who kills every vine/creeper he finds) is glad I didn't let him spray it!

He was struggling on the hot concrete, Northwest Louisiana US so I let him decide if he wanted me to put him somewhere cooler. But I just had to get some pictures, he was big too.
Dried non- processed peanuts and deer corn got wet and approximately 24 hours later,THIS! But it was there with ant poison in it so I could dispose of it without spreading any more ants. If I get over the 'ick' I would try them as fish bait, obviously the poison didn't hurt them. Look closely for the bugs/larve/whatever they are. Northwest Louisiana
The orange is mostly under the wings with the blue predominantly on the top. Northwest Louisiana United States. Thank you all in advance for any information and would it be too much to ask what pollinator flowers they prefer.
Thank you all in advance for suggestions, even unpleasant news on it. Northwest Louisiana United States, tree roots don't go down far here, red iron ore dirt.
Northwest Louisiana United States. Lawn mowed the day before,95° high humidity this dude stomps out of the grass, covering about 2 feet of hot concrete, then took the next hour yelling and waving 😡👋 at me, to climb all the way to the top, back down and stomp back into the grass !😁🤣 Can someone help tell me what language (🐛🤬) I keep hearing in a tiny voice?
Northwest Louisiana,United States, rural pond area watched a pair of woodpeckers seemingly dance with each other around a wooden electric pole and then a large wooden fence post. No sounds,no fighting,no pecking for bugs, then they flew off together. Was I witnessing a mating dance thing or the parents escaping the nest for a minute?
Northwest Louisiana US, every year we are getting more, and different mushrooms. This is the first time ever seeing a fungus attack them. Only the white ones though. Under heavy shade.
Been wanting to pet the black 🖤 🐈⬛ for two days.
Northwest Louisiana US, in a hay field approximately 10 feet from a pond. Walked around 100ft peripheral and found no more. Any information would be helpful, as if it turns out to be a less obnoxious weed and prettier than most we have, I'd like to keep it. Thank you in advance for input or even jokes at this point,😁.( Trying to clean up my handicap Dad's pond so he can fish all around it). I'm waiting for some sunshine to come out so I can see if the flowers have opened yet.
Northwest Louisiana US, yes they usually do well in our zone ( even though we have wompus weather and iron clay for dirt),we even got rid of a 40 ft water oak that was blocking it's sunlight, none of the bark or roots show anything,no new injuries but we've noticed over the past two years several of the leaves turning yellow and dying despite producing about half the number of flowers still. Sorry I didn't edit the pictures better. Thank you all in advance for any input, I really want to save it! We are 8 miles from one that is nearly larger than a small Mansion and has been there at least since the early 1800's.
I didn't have a banana or a dollar for scale 😁. But was looking for Luck, while weed eating.
