Best Directors Polls: Final Results

In total, 72 directors were polled against each other, relative to the decade that they became prominent. The winner of each decade advanced to one of two semifinals, the first being the 30s, 40s 50s, 60s, and 70s, and the second the 80s, 90s, 00s, 10s, and 20s. The winner of the first semifinal, Alfred Hitchcock, and the winner of the second, Paul Thomas Anderson, advanced to the finals. Alfred Hitchcock came out as the overall winner across almost 100 years of filmmaking. Below is the results for every poll. Thank you all for voting.
