Remind me I’m doing the right thing

My 13 month old is a horrible sleeper. We have only ever contact napped because she cannot connect her sleep cycles for naps. We co sleep and she still comfort nurses every 2 hours at night. We are determined never to sleep train and family always has horrible things to say to us about this. They always make comments on how something must be wrong because she should be sleeping through the night. In my heart I know I’m doing the right thing by building her healthy attachment. But sometimes I need a reminder. My step mom made a comment today and I’m just feeling down on myself. Words of encouragement are appreciated.

Need help finding my husband a signature scent

Ok I need help. My husband wants a signature scent. He will basically wear whatever I want him to but I struggle to find a masculine leaning scent that I like. Most of them are too sharp to my nose. Or too aldehydic. He doesn’t want to wear something overly feminine. I HATE sandalwood as well. Help me find something for him 😭 the only thing so far that I’ve found that we both like for him is wavechild by room 1015 which is for summer and I need something for all seasons.

Struggling with self weaning

My daughter just turned 1 and has been EBF from birth. It has been such a bonding experience and I’ve loved every moment. Now that she’s on 3 meals a day she doesn’t nurse during the day anymore, Only for sleep (naps, and during the night) and I’m struggling more than I thought I would. She’s a very independent kid who is very busy. Just seems too busy to nurse during the day. I’ve been feeling so sad about her growing up and not needing me as much. Im worried she will completely wean within the next couple of months And I want to nurse her until she is 2. I’m worried that nothing will set me apart if I’m not nursing her (realistically I know this is silly). Has anyone dealt with this?? I know we as parents want our kids to not need us but idk I’m just struggling. Words of encouragement are appreciated. Please be kind.

When does the bed not have to be firm?

We are traveling with our daughter in August. She will be 13 months old at the time of travel. I won’t have control over how firm the bed is. Is she old enough now that this isn’t as much of a concern?

Should I get my cat a friend??

In desperate need of advice. First, some background. We adopted my cat when he was 4 months old. He’s now 4 years old. He has always been a super clingy and energetic cat. He was the center of our attention always. He was constantly on my chest and being held when we were home. And during my pregnancy I was very sick and on the couch 24/7 so he was basically attached to me the whole time. Well now we have a 10 month old and our cat has become an absolute nuisance. I hate to say that but it’s true. We still love on him and play with him but definitely not as much as before. My husband travels for work so it’s just me and the baby at home and I don’t always have the time or energy to give him a lot of play time. But even when I do love on him he has started to bite and just meows constantly and is always knocking stuff off counters, chewing on things, etc. the baby is almost a year old so he should be adjusted by now. I need advice to help his behavior. Should I get him a friend? A kitten? Would be open to that if it would help his quality of life! Please be nice lol.

PS. He is in good health with no concerns there!

Recently got my period back. Still EBF. What magnesium supplement are you taking and which days of your cycle are you taking it? I’m already taking calcium!
