Room Swap Question - Casino Royale

I tried searching this but did not know what to really search for so sorry if this has been asked.

My wife and I booked 2 rooms with 2 separate offers on our next cruise, we are going with another couple and when we arrive we will go to customer service and swap rooms and what not.

My question is, what if the people in Room 1, let's call them John and James, buy the drink package because they are in there same room. Then when we get on the boat, John stays in room 1 and James goes to room 2. Will this affect the already purchased drink packages at all?

Exploring outside of Palm Beach, need advice

This is our 2nd trip to Aruba that we have coming up in August. The first time we stayed in the Palm beach area and mostly stayed in Palm Beach. Some notes:

-We are a family of 5, kids are 16, 12, and 8.

-We love walking around and exploring before and after dinner.

-The first time we went we pretty much walked around the mall area in Palm Beach (Noord I think) every night.

We are staying in Palm Beach again but this time we are renting a car. Are there similar areas we can check out after dinner that are different than Noord/Palm beach? I have read about Oranjestad and I think they have a downtown area for us to explore, is that correct? Any other cool places to eat dinner and explore after dinner that you would recommend?
