edit 2 - switched off vpn and back on and now doesn’t work with vpn either. weird.
seems it almost never gets up past the 2/3rds mark and seems like it uses EV mode less when below 50%. anyone else notice this? mostly around town driving averaging about 33 mpg.
have a 2026 hybrid sxp. walked out in garage today and noticed ac was running while car was off even though key was inside the house. now it was hot out in the garage but i don’t understand how it got turned on by itself. wife hasn’t been anywhere near it today. any ideas?

Good old garage sale special. What’s a fair price for this set that’s almost 10 years old but in good shape?
we laid in a posturepedic pro in a small local store with the same top as this. it was 50% more expensive than costco. is it the same thing? looking at the firm. anyone have this? how do you like it? costco has the best customer service in the world so that gives me some confidence in trying bees from them first.

we have a mid century ranch that is painted an ugly color by previous owner. it has t1-11 siding which is in decent shape.
i am struggling to find exterior whole house examples of a restore job with something like retique or giani woodlook paint.
is this possible or would i need to strip / sand / stain or fully replace the siding if k want to get back to a more natural look?

I have a tempur probreeze mattress medium firmness. it is foam. my back hurts like hell in the morning. wake up groggy, hard to get up, always sleep late.
when i sleep on my couch my back feels great. wake up easy. little to no back pain. very firm.
my wife loves the tempur and it was super expensive. i’ve never slept well on it tbh. it is very cozy to crawl into, which i think is why we fell for it at the store. laying comfort != sleep quality.
gemini suggested trying a 2” twin xl firm latex topper (dunlop 38 ILP) for my side of the bed from latex mattress factory. i also have a platform bed on thick plywood. so no sag on the base.
will this work? gemini seems convinced that the hammock effect of the foam is causing my issue and the topper won’t sag because it will spread out my weight. the sub’s bit seems to think toppers won’t help achieve a firmer sleep.
