Animation Crowdfund

First off, love this podcast. Funny, dumb, interesting and all round entertaining. I was watching Legends of Vox Machina and thought about how they crowdfunded for their first season. Is it time that the makers of Midnight Burger do the same? I would absolutely love to watch an animated version of the story!

Mystery Metal Festival

Hi all! I'm working with a grassroots metal and rock festival in London to help spread the word. I am promoting it as a mystery festival to give people the opportunity to go in blind and discover some great music! I can tell you there are at least 3 bands on the lineup who played Bloodstock this year, so you know it's going to be a great time! 🤘 If you have any questions, fire away!

Edit - a bit more context

I have started a project where I work with grassroots bands/venues etc. to co-promote their gigs as a Mystery Gig. The idea is to hopefully reach people who may not already be following the band but are open to discovering new music in a live setting.

You can of course do a little bit of Googling and find the event with all the details if you want, but that negates the fun of the surprise!

Either way, it's all about getting more people to grassroots gigs and enjoying discovering new music. I don't take a cut of ticket sales; it is purely to help promote independent music.

Booking company provided a bus with no luggage storage - England

I'm going to try to keep this short.

I booked travel for 20 people via coach through a booking company. This was for a return trip over a weekend, so 2 nights away. One of the listed features of the booking was "ample luggage space". The bus that was sent for the return journey 22-seater that had no luggage storage. There was a sign saying "Luggage: 0kg". This meant there wasn't enough space for all 20 people and the luggage. 3 people had to travel home by train.

I have requested a refund for the 3 people's % of the booking fee and the amount paid for the train tickets. They are refusing to acknowledge any wrongdoing and are offering a discount on future bookings. Do I take this to small claims?

Things to note:

- the bus provided on the outbound trip was a large coach due to the original vehicle having mechanical issues

- the booking company never asked how much luggage we were bringing

- they listed "ample storage space"

- bus had a sign saying "luggage: 0kg"

- the booking company did not mention luggage storage to the vehicle operator

- there was more luggage than just weekend bags, however, there was no space for "standard" weekend luggage

Thanks in advance!
