Lana Del Rey Pink Satin Gloves

I always wanted to see her in opera-length gloves, but for whatever reason she never did. There was one shoot or video where she was supposed to be like a beauty pagent queen but the gloves were sheer and those don't do it for me. Anyway this photo is a treasure so I hope you enjoy.

What do you actually do about the homeless problem?

There is a sizable population of homeless people in my city who basically just get shuffled around to different areas like they'll be encamped under one bridge, the bridge gets fenced off, they go to another bridge rinse and repeat. Many will say "build affordable housing" but I honestly think most are on the streets due to drug addiction, mental illness or both rather than just poverty. Local anarchist or punk types decry encampment sweeps as if the evil mayor is deliberately harming their "unhoused neighbors" by doing so. But in my opinion it is untenable to have shanty towns taking over stretches of the city. Should we just let them overdose in their tents? I really dont know what the humane solution to this is. Are there just always going to be a certain segment of the population that cannot live in normal society?

Don't look at those pictures.

My gf and I (both 30s), have dysmorphia, though in her case its more severe. One of the ways this manifests for us is that we HATE getting our pictures taken unless its a meticulously posed selfie. We went to a wedding recently knowing that we couldnt avoid photos. But we coped with the cameras by simply deciding not to look at the resulting photos. Granted, this can be more difficult for phone pictures. Just yesterday I was jumpscared by a photo of us sent by my uncle. But I deleted the photo from the thread without looking. Its basically a boundary I make with myself. I know I can spend hours body and face checking photos and ruining my day. So I dont let myself look. I dont know if this helps, but thought id share.

Two years in, missing the romance stage (M33/F33)

When my girlfriend and I got together two years ago, I had never truly been in love before. She changed that. That entire summer, and much of the remaining year, we were madly in love. Always exchanging declarations of love via text, pining for one another when apart, and having frequent, passionate sex. As time went on, our passionate love evolved into companionate love, and she moved in with me last year. We still love each other very much, have sex enough to satisfy me, and get along quite well. But I find myself missing that early stage and wanting it back. My question is: is it possible to reignite the romance, or must we savor the memory knowing that is unrealistic to sustain that level of passion? Any thoughts or advice appreciated, especially if you are our age or older and have experience with long term relationships.

Elderly theatre guy at my job shows me 3-5 unfunny memes per day

Its always like puns, marvel or batman references, Trump bashing, or sub-par equivalents to Gary Larson comics. I dont think he's autistic but idk how he doesnt pick up on the fact that I say "heh" in monotone to every single one.

Why do some people love sharing bad news on social media?

I know this woman who I used to see around the local punk/DIY/hipster scene when we were in our 20s, I still follow her on Instagram and her stories are full of bad news whether its climate, Trump, or anyhing else. She does this daily and I wonder what motivates it? "Spreading awareness"? Its not like her followers dont have acccess to the news or are ignorant of the worlds problems. Do people just derive some strange pleasure out of creating a personally curated feed of bad news?
