Alignment concern with new 3

Picked up my new 3P two weeks ago and noticed that while it drove straight, the steering wheel had a very slight 1-2 deg tilt to the left going down a flat road. I had it checked out at Tesla and the spec sheet/corrections are shown here. Steering wheel still is slightly crooked though. Using the service menu, it actually shows steering angle at 2deg when I have it perfectly straight (to my eyes and a level) and at 0.0 when the car goes straight with a crooked wheel.

They did it twice and it was the same steering wheel result. They verified that they used a steering wheel lock with bubble and that it was level, but it just is clearly not to me. Am I missing something, or is there something of concern if the car is reading it at 2.0 when the wheel is straight. Am I crazy or my eyes misaligned, I wonder.

Domino’s Paze St Jude donations FYI

I used the $10 Paze offer a few times over the past few months but didn’t feel like maxing out the offers before the end of the promo so I did $10 donations to St Jude through Dominos. I had 5 other cards including freedom, kohls and debit cards eligible so figured why not. Spent 90 min or so just doing repeated donations, $10 per card, for $540 total.

FYI: I got a call midway through from the local dominos store asking what was going on and if my account was hacked. They see every order for st Jude’s donations come in even if it’s $10 with no food order. I think (hope) they found it humorous, I apologized and asked if it was gumming up their orders, they said no it was fine they were just curious. So heads up if anyone else is doing this.

Any recourse over a misleading parking pass listing?

I bought a parking pass for this rangers game. $33 in Lot A as shown. Upon purchase I get the details, and it is a random parking lot 1.5 miles away. They titled it in a way where the description on the pass says “Address - A Lot” which I think enabled it to post on StubHub as if it was in the official Lot A. Description says 15 min walk which could take that long from furthest parking spot to furthest entrance, which was my (apparently incorrect) assumption.

I tried contacting StubHub CS - useless AI chat, no response to email, finally got to chat to overseas agent who says they emailed the seller and that it was a correct listing. Short of disputing the charge, is there any recourse on my end to getting my money back?

Per Tesla advisor, new Model 3 Performances due to be delivered in Sept will not have the QHD screen and black headliner

My 3P is due 9/11-9/22 and Tesla has assigned VIN in docs and reached out to confirm next steps and questions. I figured I’d ask them as it’s getting close. Hope it’s not definitive but not looking likely.

Are CCS to NACS adapter included in new deliveries

Someone taking delivery of a new MYP stated they got a CCS to NACS adapter free with their car (in addition to the small J1772 to NACS adapter.) Has anyone else gotten this with their delivery of a new 3

Cluster of contamination

Alright so I’ve been fairly snake bitten when it comes to window tint shops over the years. Good reviews, good word of mouth, it always seems to result in some issue or bad experience. I’m wondering if I’m being too OCD or scrutinizing, but this is from a shop with hundreds of recent 5 star reviews. It’s like this on all windows and they redid the rest (they turned out much better) but didn’t want to touch this because of defrosters, they said it was pretty good.

Novices and installers, is this acceptable in your opinion? Should I have pushed harder for them to replace, at risk of damaging defroster lines? (Not sure they would even offer to replace the window if so.) I know that no job is perfect but this seems like a lot.

I’m actually selling this car soon but wanted to reference this pic as potential acceptable quality for the next shop. If it seems reasonable I’ll try to adjust my expectations accordingly.

Rear center stop light after tinting

I know that when I tinted my '21 3P, there was tint solution/water that seeped into the rear center stop light housing and left streaks that didn't evaporate (even after using a soak rope.) It was a PITA to clean, to the point where I had to break the foam seal there, accidentally pushed fragments into the housing, then used thin pliers and chopsticks to get them out. Curious for those who have tinted their rear glass lately, if you've noticed or have streaks in the rear center stop light housing.

Chase Sapphire DFW Lounge

We happened to have a flight out of DFW Friday night and stopped by the new lounge. Family of 4, no wait to get in after being in a 5 min line. It’s a very nice new space that overlooks the American D terminal bag checks. Narrow space, nice decor, we ordered using the QR code from the table and it was delivered in 20 min. There was grab and go cold selections at the entry point, and some other warm food and small plates à la carte. Everything seemed to run smooth, everyone’s friendly. Vastly preferred over The Club, which I expect will have less people now

Never thought I’d see a [Nissan Skyline] looking clapped out, but here it is

Not sure if this is stock but the wheels look too small and the spoiler looks too big. It was JDM RHD

Mango on a stick is amazing

A frozen mango on a stick. Somehow isn’t rock hard or mushy or stringy but just the right consistency, tasty and healthy I guess, it’s just mango, no chocolate on this one.

I got my car tinted recently with XPEL XR Plus. I went with 20% sides and back, and it’s reflected in the invoice, above. It’s lighter than I expected, as I had 35% in a car before this and they look very similar to me. I then looked at the invoice and on the bottom it says “Ceramic 30%.” Does this mean it was actually 30%? I haven’t had a chance to get back to the tint shop on some rework to ask.
