I've seen some people saying because Bright Eyes played one set for 45 mins that it satisfies the insurance/venue requirements for having fulfilled their obligations to the ticket buyers.

Usually that's correct -- most concerts are promoted as an artist generally performing a set, the contents of which aren't really outlined, so a 45 minute appearance would sadly count as some kind of fulfillment.

However, this show explicitly advertised both albums in their entirety in the marketing materials and that is a purchase that was not fulfilled.

I would hound AXS relentlessly (be polite, but firm with followups) until they acquiesce. If not, do charge back on your credit card.

Feel like it's super unfair that they're primarily thought of as pop hitmakers when the bulk of their material in terms of musical craft is super elevated.

And the lyrics on Pressure Machine are next level good. Hopefully that foundational talent gets some recognition.
