Best corset for plus-size men?
Hi everyone! I’m a plus-size man looking for a corset that I could comfortably wear under regular clothes on a daily basis. I have noticeable hip dips, so I’m wondering what style or cut would work best for my body shape without digging into my hips or making them uncomfortable. I’m mainly looking for something comfortable, reasonably discreet under clothing, and supportive without being extremely restrictive. For anyone with a similar body type, what kind of corset would you recommend, and are there any specific styles, lengths, or materials I should look for or avoid?

Is this side bulging around the underarms/edges normal when a custom corset is fully tightened?
Hi everyone,
I have a question about the fit of my corset and I'd really appreciate some experienced opinions.
This corset was made to my measurements, so I wasn't expecting this much bulging around the sides, just below my armpits and along the top edge of the corset (as shown in the photo).
This only happens when I tighten the corset as much as it comfortably allows. If I leave it any looser, I don't get enough waist compression. If I tighten it enough for my waist to actually feel supported (while still being comfortable), the tissue on the sides bulges like in the picture.
After wearing it all day, I also notice some mild discomfort where the steel bones press against that area. It's not painful, but it's definitely noticeable after several hours.
So I'm wondering:
Is this kind of side bulging normal, even with a made-to-measure corset?
Does it suggest that the rib spring or upper edge isn't quite right for my body?
(It's fully seasoned btw)

Any website recommendation?
Does anyone know a free app or website to deliver photos to my clients? I need something that offers an organized gallery and allows me to sell photos directly through the platform.
Does a jewelry piece like this even exist
I'm looking for a 4mm (6g) septum tunnel that is:
one-piece
no threads
no O-rings
hollow
discreet enough to be worn by itself
comfortable for long-term wear
allows me to wear a smaller ring through it
Basically, I want to keep my septum stretched while being able to swap different smaller rings through the tunnel.
I've found ear tunnels and eyelets, but most seem too long or not designed for septums.
Has anyone seen something like this or know a brand that makes it? Any recommendations are appreciated.
Does Fan Lacing damage a corset faster than standard lacing? Also, can it be done with a single cord?
Hi everyone!
I’m currently looking into different lacing methods for my corsets and had a couple of questions regarding durability and construction. I’d love to get your insights!
Regarding wear and tear, I am wondering whether the traditional lacing method (using standard grommets and "bunny ears") or Fan Lacing tends to damage or wear out the corset faster. I'm curious if the extra friction or the hardware used in fan lacing systems puts more structural stress on the fabric and grommets over time.
On a related note, I would also like to know if it is possible to set up a functional fan lacing system using just one single, continuous piece of cord, or if the mechanics of the system inherently require cutting and tying multiple separate pieces of laces together. I’d really prefer a method where I don't have to cut my laces if possible.
Thanks in advance for any advice, experiences, or technical tips you can share!

Is tightlacing with off-the-rack (OTR) corsets common?
Hi everyone,
I’ve been tightlacing for about a year using a custom, made-to-measure corset. However, I’m really tempted to try off-the-rack (OTR) corsets because some models look like they offer an even more dramatic waist reduction/silhouette.
My main concern is how common and safe it is to successfully tightlace with OTR pieces. Since everyone has unique proportions (underbust, waist, and hips), I’m worried about fit issues or discomfort during significant reduction.
I know some OTR brands offer specific models tailored for different silhouettes (like extreme hourglass, conical, or distinct rib/hip springs). For those who use them: how well do they actually adapt to your specific measurements compared to custom ones?
Would love to hear your experiences! Thanks!

Vintage Singer not picking up bobbin thread. Any ideas? (Model unknown)
Hi everyone!
As you can see in the video, my vintage Singer isn't catching the lower bobbin thread. I don't know the exact model name, unfortunately.
I’ve already tried rethreading everything, changing the needle, and cleaning the lint, but nothing worked.
Could this be a timing issue, or am I missing something simple? Any help would be amazing. Thanks!
I got this custom-made corset about a year ago, but I feel like the curve isn't very noticeable. Any advice?
Hey everyone! I bought this custom-made corset about a year ago. It fits comfortably, but I’ve always felt like it doesn’t give me a very noticeable or dramatic waist curve.
I’m attaching a video so you can see how it looks on. Is this just the natural silhouette of this specific pattern, or could it be an issue with how I'm lacing it? I'd love to get your thoughts or any advice on how to improve the silhouette! Thanks!
