Listen, I'm gonna start saying, Doom doesn't need to be weak or that he used to be a joke villain or whatever, he wasn't never really that.

Dr doom has always been one of Marvel's most iconic and respected villains, one who always makes a name for himself and is worthy to fear.

But I feel like in most recent years, two things have happened that I don't really feel should have

-He became unnecesarily way more powerful

-He is insanely "larped" (or basically people talk about him without any type of context)

Let me make an example of this with God Emperor Doom one shotting Thanos.

First of all, I know God Emperor Doom isn't base Dr Doom and he has a valid lore reason to be that powerful, but that version of him has genuinely made everyone think Doom is this one shotting machine that could evaporize any of your favorite marvel characters, (also this is probably top 5 most larped panels of all time btw)

Now I know arguing about power-scaling with Comics is pointlese, but my main issue with this isn't really Doom one shotting Thanos, is the general consensus people have about Doom because of stuff like this

Let's not forget who Doom is actually a villain of, The Fantastic Four

Those four have been able to defeat Doom, countless of times, so have the regular Avengers

So idk why people go around saying "No one in Doomsday is able to defeat Doom" or "Only characters like Wanda or Phoenix could defeat him" wich is totally wrong

Most of Doom's best stories and conflicts don't make him a threat because he gains some type of cosmic power or whatever

Doom is usually interesting because he is an evil mastermind, one who gets to put minds like the ones of Reed Richards or even Tony Stark at check

Doom's best battles aren't really the ones of him having unmeasurable amount of cosmic magic power or whatever vs a different great power of another character

Now I'll finish saying that I don't dislike modern Doom adaptations, they've been pretty good so far and I'm really excited for Doomsday and what they'll do with the character, it seems like they understand what makes him interesting and tragic, and I don't mind if they make him insanely powerful

My only issue is how larped he is and how overglazed base doom is in terms of powers

Lemme know what you guys think of them, this is just the first batch of them I´m planning on doing

I love how the new evil dead movies are some sort of anthology that explores new settings and ideas, such as a tiny apartment or all the victims being family

That said, if you are deep into the lore, you'd notice how many elements of the current film still date back to the origins of the lore and Army of Darkness

It would be cool as hell if we got another movie set in those times, with the darker, gorier tone of the modern movies

As well as it going even deeper into the lore of the franchise

Absolutely loved this game, loved Delsin and how cool he is and looks, as well as his powers and the gameplay of it, I only wish it wasn't that short

I also wish there Infamous 1 and 2 were available in PS5, I'd like to try this whole franchise, and I'd wish it got more games

So peak even a Daredevil may cry

In a world without right issues he'd fit right in, I'd love to see him in this noir universe

FIRST OF ALL, I'm a teenager too but in this sub no one really talks about teenagers stuff

Most of the time it's "Man I hate homophobic people" or "Trump is an idiot"

I AGREE with that dont get me wrong, but 99% of the time it actually just feels more like american political discussions or just basic human beings discussions

Like overall I hate how most communities in the internet feel way to American and to be based around united states politics

But specifically here I don't think anyone truly feels like your average teenager and everyone there is the chronically online american

It's always stated he listens to classic 80s or 70s music, but the genres are actually more variated

I mean MCU star lord usually goes more for pop music and reference, sometimes classic rock

Game Star Lord def leaned more into Hard Rock like Zepellin or Van Halen

I personally think rivals Star Lord most likely goes for Pop, as he said he liked Dazzler and he wasn't never that much into Metal (Metal is different from Hard Rock but you get the implication)

New Bullseye suit leaked, the texture on this looks so good, I hope a new DD suit shares this texture instead of his more armor suit

YOU CANNOT SEE THE EYES THROUGH THE MASK MAN THAT´S THE POINT OF THIS MASK... WHY DOES HE GET GLOWING EYES THEN

Skin is cool, but like, genuinely why the Pink Flames, I know everyone hates it

And atp I don´t only hate them visually, but thematically, Daredevil is NOT iron fist, he shouldnt have pink fire in his fist
