Realistically speaking, how many seasons of Elle Kennedy’s books set in the Off Campus universe will Amazon greenlight?

Having read all of Elle Kennedy’s books set in the Off Campus universe, there’s a lot of material for future spinoffs if that’s on the table. Amazon could adapt the other spinoffs such as Briar U and Campus Diaries into several seasons worth of material.

However, I don’t think that’s a realistic expectation. Heck, spinoff adaptations of other massive shows whose books have spinoffs such as Bridgerton or Percy Jackson probably wouldn’t be greenlit. For example, I don’t see any live adaptation of Rick Riordan’s Heroes of Olympus series being greenlit by Disney.

That being said, I think it’s a lock for the 4 main Off Campus books to each have their own season. A movie for The Legacy to be released on streaming would be possible but not guaranteed. After that, I think that’s it though. Briar U and Campus Diaries won’t be getting a spinoff.

The last thing I would want for Off Campus is for it to turn into something like the Walking Dead or Riverdale where the quality of the show suffers and it dies a slow and painful death due to it needlessly dragging on.

Honoring extreme hunger but with only healthy foods feels insanely more scary than honoring extreme hunger by binging on junk

I've been eating very clean over the past month or so. However, this is due to the fact that I simply feel better by eating whole foods and lean protein. My body feels more energized and I feel like I'm adequately fueled whenever I go about my day.

However, it makes me more prone to random bouts of extreme hunger. If you look at what I'm eating, I eat a lot of food. However, the the fact that I eat whole foods means that they're not only very healthy, but low in calories for the most part. These are not calorie dense foods by any means. Foods like Russet Potatoes, Cottage Cheese, Greek Yogurt, Apples, Pears, Bananas, and White Fish aren't calorie bombs compared to the usual "binge foods" such as peanut butter, donuts, ice cream, pizza, or bread. Imagine if you went on an absolute bender due to extreme hunger with those usual binge foods. You probably ate a ton of food. But now imagine if you felt that same hunger but you only had the foods I've been eating in your refrigerator.

I could eat what looks like a mountain of food and it probably wouldn't be a lot of calories to begin with. My most common mistake has been subconsciously thinking that I've eaten enough based on the volume of food I consumed when the truth is I haven't actually eaten enough and I end up feeling hungry a few hours later.

I had an episode of extreme hunger a while ago and it was terrifying to see how much food I had to eat in order to feel satiated. It definitely wasn't binge eating. I would never binge on things such as Clementines, Pears, 0% fat Greek Yogurt, 1% fat cottage cheese, or Russet Potatoes. I would never just eat those simply because I'm bored and I need something to do. I only eat those if I feel genuine hunger to the point that I can't concentrate on what I'm doing due to food noise.

That being said, I probably ate a buffet's worth of these healthy foods because I was genuinely hungry. It's so much harder to honor extreme hunger with whole foods rather than binging on the usual calorie-dense foods such as bread, peanut butter, donuts, chips, etc. I ate multiple fruit bowls with a cup of cottage cheese or greek yogurt as a base. I also ate multiple plain baked russet potatoes with lean protein such as tuna and sardines. In between those meals, I also ate clementines and bananas as well. I've had binges in the past where I binged on unhealthy foods such as bagels and cheese but I ate way less than I did this time around. I had to consume way more food during this most recent experience of extreme hunger because I wasn't eating any calorie-dense food.

How do you think the seasons of Logan and Tucker will pan out given the fact that their personalities on the show are nothing like their personalities in the books?

Just curious about this. Logan in the show is far too honorable, level-headed, and mature to be doing any of the things he did in his book. Tucker is a bit less of a problem given his selfless nature and willingness to put others before himself. I can see Tucker in the show being able to channel that side of Tucker in the book. However, Tucker in the show seems to have no initiative with women whatsoever. I don’t see how they can make his romance kick off given his nature in the show

I've experienced three distinct types of extreme hunger. Any thoughts on this?

I've experienced three very distinct types of extreme hunger in the past. I'd just like to share what I've felt like when each of these types of extreme hunger hit me hard. I'd also like to share some advice on how to overcome each one. It took me a long time to figure this out but I'm learning from the past and the mistakes I've made before. All I want is to keep extreme hunger at bay so I don't binge eat.

Extreme Hunger Type 1: The "Classic" Extreme Hunger

What it feels like: This is what people think of when they hear the word extreme hunger. When I felt this, I felt jittery, panicky, shaky, and tense. Besides this, I also felt lightheaded and dizzy. I simply had the urge to eat anything I could get my hands on.

What I think it's caused by: Eating too little carbs or waiting too long in between meals.

Thoughts on this: In the past, I tried to only get my carbs from fruits. I cut out grains, wheat, and starch altogether. This was the most common type of extreme hunger that I would experience. It only subsided when I added Sweet Potatoes and Russet Potatoes to my everyday diet.

Extreme Hunger Type 2: The Empty Tank

What it feels like: It feels like the biggest afternoon slump you've ever experienced. You're not lightheaded, your stomach is full, but you're sleepy as hell and you can't stay awake to focus on anything

What I think it's caused by: Eating too little protein:

Thoughts on this: I've felt this before and eating protein was the only thing that "woke me up". Eating Carbs + Fiber like Bananas, Apples, Sweet Potatoes, and Russet Potatoes didn't give me energy. Eating these foods didn't help because my stomach wasn't empty to begin with and I wasn't lightheaded in any way

Extreme Hunger Type 3: The Bottomless Pit

What it feels like: It's impossible to feel satiated for long. I would eat a full meal and feel great right after. However, I would get the urge to eat and start to think about food again after an hour or two. This feeling wouldn't stop until my stomach was stuffed because I kept eating even if I didn't want to in the hopes that the food noise would stop.

What it's caused by: Lack of fat in diet

Thoughts on this: This was low-key the most difficult type of extreme hunger to deal with because I didn't know what was causing it. The thing is, I felt great even when I was feeling this type of extreme hunger. My stomach was full, I had energy, but I had still had food noise for some reason. At first, I thought that I didn't have enough protein. That turned out to be wrong. Eating tons of protein like an entire tub of Greek Yogurt or Cottage Cheese didn't stop this gnawing feeling. It was like there was a voice in my head telling me that something was still missing despite me being energized and full. I wasn't even craving anything in particular so I really didn't know what was going on. This feeling only went away when I added Avocados and Scrambled Eggs to my diet. Before I added Avocados and Scrambled Eggs, I had no fats in my diet whatsoever. I never used oil, I never ate fat-heavy spreads like Peanut Butter or Mayonnaise, and I never ate nuts. In addition to this, I only drank fat-free milk, ate 1% fat cottage cheese, 0% Greek Yogurt, and lean protein composed of mainly white fish such as Tilapia and Catfish.

So yeah, these are my experiences from having gone through three very different types of extreme hunger. I hope this helps out anyone who ever gets hit by extreme hunger at some point. If I feel hungry, I try to analyze what type of hunger I'm feeling and I try to eat the "best" type of food based on that.

Lacking Fiber and Carbs vs Lacking Protein. Hunger in two very different forms

As a restrictive anorexic, I’ve noticed two very different forms of hunger. It’s like two different sides of the same coin.

Scenario 1: Feeling lightheaded, dizzy, and your mind is telling you to eat. Can range from feeling like there’s a mild, nagging voice in your head that makes you feel twitchy to a full-blown migraine that makes your body shake.
Solution: Eat Carbs + Fiber
Example: Sweet Potatoes, Potatoes, Apples, Bananas, Pears

Scenario 2: Low Energy. Feeling groggy or sleepy with no stamina whatsoever. However, there’s no head pain or empty stomach syndrome . Stomach may be full but the energy to do anything or even stay awake just isn’t there.
Solution: Eat Protein
Examples: Cottage Cheese, Eggs,
Greek Yogurt

This is what I’ve learned from my own observations. Has anyone else experienced this? My experiences may not be the same for everyone else though. This is just what I’ve noticed based on what I’ve felt when it comes to my own hunger

Why have I hit a weight loss plateau while there are people who are able to lose weight despite eating way less healthy than I do? It's not fair

First of all, I'm a subscriber of Weight Watchers. My daily foods consist of mostly Zero-Point foods. According to Weight Watchers, Zero Point foods are things that you can eat guilt-free whenever you're hungry. That being said, my daily meals consist mostly of these foods. For the record, here are the things I eat regularly...

Microwaved Sweet Potatoes (no toppings or oil)

Microwaved Russet Potatoes (no toppings or oil)

Scrambled Eggs (no toppings or oil)

Canned Sardines

Canned Light Tuna

Baked Fish with no toppings or oil (Tilapia, Catfish, Cod, Haddock, Salmon, Trout)

Low-fat Cottage Cheese

0% Plain Greek Yogurt

Apples

Bananas

Pears

Raspberries

Blackberries

Blueberries

Strawberries

Spinach

Tomatoes

Zucchini

A1 Steak Sauce

Kraft Low Calorie BBQ Sauce

Marinara Sauce

Low Calorie Teriyaki Sauce

Plain, Regular Lattes

In addition to this, I have an extensive list of banned foods which I avoid at all costs such as...

All fast food dishes (ex: Big Mac, Fries, etc.)

Flavored Coffee Drinks and Shakes (ex: Vanilla Milkshake, Caramel Macchiato, Vanilla Latte)

Chips (ex: Lays, Pringles)

Candies (ex: Gummy Bears)

All deep-fried food (Ex: Fish and Chips, Fried Calamari)

Heavily Processed Frozen Food (ex: IKEA Meatballs, Frozen Pizza)

Instant Noodles (ex: Instant Ramen)

Cream

Sugar

High Calorie sauces and spreads (ex: butter, margarine, mayonnaise, alfredo sauce, caesar salad dressing, peanut butter)

All forms of Red Meat

All forms of Bread (white bread, bagels, baguette, ciabatta, etc.)

Rice

Pizza

Ice Cream

Desserts, Pastries, and Baked Goods (ex: Donuts, Cinnamon Rolls, Lemon Tarts, Creme Brulee)

That being said, I don't see how it's fair when people eat several stuff from the list of my banned foods and they can lose weight while I've been very strict with my diet and I've hit a weight plateau. My diet is on another level compared to theirs. It completely outclasses what they eat in terms of health and yet I'm the one who's hit a weight loss plateau.

Has anyone felt physically full but still really hungry at the same time?

I had an episode of extreme hunger a while ago. The funny thing is I acknowledged it and I didn't try to fight it by ignoring the hunger. I actually ate in the hopes that the feeling would go away.

However, I totally approached it the wrong way. I ate low calorie, high fiber foods in an attempt to get rid of the voice in my head telling me that I was hungry. I ate a banana, an apple, and a big sweet potato in the hopes that the hunger would just stop and that I wouldn't be thinking about food anymore. I ate them one at a time. I ate a banana then when the feeling was still there, I ate an apple. The feeling was still there after that so I ate a big sweet potato. Despite all of this, the hunger wouldn't go away. The result was a disaster. My stomach was extremely full due to the fiber. However, the "hunger voice " in my head wouldn't stop nagging me. The voice was as loud as ever and telling me to eat despite my stomach feeling absolutely stuffed with fiber.

I tried to fix this by eating a ton of protein like cottage cheese and scrambled eggs. The voice in my head went away but only after eating loads of those two foods. That being said, I did not binge. I was checked in the entire time. I didn't lose control and turn it into a binge by saying "Screw it". I only ate until the voice in my head was silenced and I wasn't thinking about food any longer.

This was such a strange experience. I was bloated as hell due to the fiber but still so hungry at the same time.
