Poco x8 pro, pretty great on T-Mobile.(Long term review)

Here's my long-term review:

I initially got the POCO X8 Pro as an experiment. I wanted to test its compatibility with my carrier because I didn't want to lease a new phone or spend a bunch of money on a flagship and Honestly I also wanted to try something different.

So I started doing my research and found the 512GB X8 Pro on sale for less than $392 usd, so I bought it. Honestly, it has been a great surprise. The ads weren't nearly as bad as I thought, disabling them was pretty simple, and, ironically, at least in my area, it gets better reception than the phones I had before it: (iPhone Air),(Razr 2024),(Pixel 9a)

I also love the level of customization, which is how I ended up with my current setup. Overall, I would absolutely recommend it.

Finally got a Gameboy after years since the last time I had one.

I've always loved Game Boy and Game Boy Color games for as long as I can remember playing video games. My original Game Boy died years ago, and I'd been trying to chase that high through emulation, but it was never quite the same.

I'd been looking for a good deal to finally get another one, but I was always a little worried about messing one up by modding it myself. Then, a couple of weeks ago, I found this one already modded on eBay for $150, and I just had to have it.

I'm so happy I actually got it. It feels great to be back to the original hardware,it might be the nostalgia speaking but this thing is gorgeous 😭.

the rg34xxsp is amazing.

I've had the Miyoo Mini Flip for a couple of months as my EDC console, but my sister started getting interested in the old games I play, so I ended up giving her my Miyoo Mini Flip. That meant I needed a replacement, so I gave the RG34XXSP a try since I mostly play GBA games. And wow, this screen is just amazing for my use case. I'm definitely going to be taking this little guy everywhere with me now,it is genuinely way better than I thought.

Criminally underrated imo.

I have been using this pair of ATH-M20xBTs ever since I started the hobby back in 2023. I’ve worn the hell out of them, and honestly, they’re great for what they are, especially with the pad swap I did. They’re comfortable, sturdy, lightweight, and have huge battery life, along with a pretty decent tuning that became a little more balanced with the new pads.
I liked them enough that they became my beaters for college, to the point where I never even questioned making a review on them, they just became part of my daily life, and that’s a huge selling point in my opinion.
Are they the best? Obviously not. But they do the job, and that’s enough for me to recommend them.

I get it now.

The koss porta pro,I knew about koss for a while now I had already tried other models but had held back because I was told they weren't really detailed and that they were too bassy, but at the end decided to give them try and sure they are less detailed and bassy, butwow are they musical, this is the type of headphone that just makes you want to listen to more music relisten to music you heard before just to enjoy them again,it's interesting,I get it.

Flathead earbuds,I never paid them much attention because I thought they’d all probably sound pretty much like Apple EarPods. But when I finally pulled the trigger on a pair of EB2S Pros, I was genuinely surprised. They’re way more comfortable than any IEM I’ve ever worn. Sure, IEMs like the IE200 are super comfortable, but they still make my ears itch after a couple of hours. These are amazing for long listening sessions.

That alone had already won me over, but then there’s the sound. They may not be “hi-fi” or whatever, but this sound signature is so enjoyable to my ears. The best way I can describe it is like a Grado in earbud form. Not a huge soundstage, but enough. Colored sound, but in a tasteful way. I absolutely loved them.

Would 100% recommend giving them a try, even if you’re an IEM lover.
