Spitfire Mk XIV

Standard or Clipped wings?

Powered by the 2,050 hp Rolls-Royce Griffon 65 and swinging a massive five-bladed prop, the Spitfire MK XIV was a very different animal from the early Merlin-powered Spitfires that fought in the Battle of Britain.

And I couldn't settle on just one wing.

The kit will include the parts to build it with either the standard elliptical wing or the clipped-wing configuration. Pick the look you want and build it your way.

That Griffon nose.
Five blades.
Two wing options.
One of the meanest-looking Spitfires ever built.
1:32.

Who's building this one? And more importantly... standard or clipped wings?

Disclaimer: I realize that S/N 66670 did not fly with external tanks. 70 had most images available as reference. If demand is great enough, the next batch will be S/N 66671.
