Picked up these at the nyc store today.

I wasn't going to get bakugo because I got the original but seeing him in person made me realize how awesome he looked and he's just an infinitely better figure than that original so I'm glad I got him.

And as someone who's recently been watching Yu Yu Hakusho and got yusuke a few months ago I was happy to get more from that set hoping they continue it since I know they already announced hiei

Is it just me or has the vaping/smoking on the train problem got a lot worst recently

Feels like every day now I have to look around any train im in so I can be on the look out for jackasses who wanna hit their vape cause they just genuinely can't go two seconds without hitting it and don't care about the people around them.

Ive seen crowded train stations where like 3 different people hit their vapes not caring about all the people around them

I have had pneumonia in the past and while i haven't had it for a long time. It makes me wanna avoid being around stuff like that since obviously I care about my lungs and want them to be healthy. But even beyond that it's just so inconsiderate yet it feels like a shocker nowadays when I don't have a train ride where someone does it

Boot up problem that's been happening on and off and idk what the problem is.

I've had my laptop for about a year and nine months now. It's done me well, but recently it's been having this strange problem where sometimes it'll just run into a problem reset And then I have to spend ten minutes messing around with menu screen Until it starts working again.

When I called the support , the guy Told me two things I'll probably have to buy As he thinks my driver are dying. A m.2nvme drive and windows 11 installation drive.

What's weird though , is that when the computer boots up , it works just fine with barely any compromise , but then randomly it'll have the boot up problem again. I don't know what's happening. And because of the guy's heavy accent, I didn't really understand the process he was telling me, does anyone know what I could do to fix this

It's really cool to see one of these games actually get end of og versions of the characters

I wonder if the Kakarot dlc from a few years ago inspired this.

Slight spoiler: Okay so like what the heck happened here?

Not that Brian was the most used character in season 14, but him not showing up at all in season 15, not even like as a cameo, is insane.

They got Keith David to voice a semi reoccurring character. And then just kind of did nothing with him. My thing is that these 2 seasons were seemingly written back-to-back. So who the hell just forgot about Brian? Did Keith David just get busy? And so they just decided to remove Brian altogether.

It's just fascinating when you compare him to Emilio, who was a much better handled new character.

Finally finished the new season, thoughts and a weird question! (SPOILERS DON'T CLICK IF YOU HAVEN'T WATCHED IT) Also big wall of text warning lol

The new season was just as good as season 14 in a lot of aspects. it still had a lot of the humor, the character writing was still mostly on point. I liked the plots, and I thought that it still did a great job at doing what the original show did and just moving it into modern day. It kept a lot of the whit, satire, and energy.

It's lowkey insane that the only parts where I cringed in this season were not even because of how it mocked modern day, but the parts where it honest to god undersold how overboard people in the modern day can be. Those two parents who kept making the gender arguments at the chicken competition were way too real but also not real enough lol.

It did a lot of the heartwarming scenes really well. The relationship between the Hill's feels as hilarious, charming and heartwarming as it ever was. Hank getting weed for Peggy was both hilarious and adorable. Everyone growing to love Caesar despite all his issues. Heck, I can even admit As someone who's lost a pet and has an old dog who likely won't be in this world in a few years myself. Seeing Hank at Ladybird's grave made me a little watery-eyed. Bobby and Connie's relationship was also very well handled, and I like how the season continued what season 14 did with having the progression of their relationship be sort of the overarching story of the series. (Makes me wonder if the revival will end with them getting married). I also loved getting to see Boomhauer get a full episode again; seeing him go full dad mode was great!

Two things did urk me though, and that's how, despite the fact this revival is very clearly made with vast respect for the original show, it also, to a certain extent, undermines the original show in a few regards for example, while I'm glad we got more info on what happened for Hank to finally put his foot down with Buck. We really needed more info on Khan and Minh's divorce; those two loved each other too much in the og series for this sudden 180 in the Revival to still be unexplained. And the John Redcorn and Nancy apparently getting back together thing was really, weird. The way it was presented for most of the episode made it seem like they never stopped when they did in the og series. And while John's "when you get them again" Sort of salvages that, I'm sure i can speak for a lot of people when I say the affair really didn't need to come back. Also while this part isn't the fault of the show by any means, it does feel a little unfortunate that John Redcorns only appearance in this season is crying over losing Nancy....again?

Although its funny, the end of this season made me wonder. Was it written as a potential series finale? Season 14 and 15 were basically made back to back with the next two seasons being greenlit after how gangbusters season 14 did. It felt so much like a full circle, explaining why Bobby wanted to do restaurant work. (Even if Shirlon with love made that perfectly believable on its own). The fact the episode mostly takes place in the past, with mostly everyone looking the same. And hell just the fact it ends on Hank finally getting that Manager postion that always teased him like a carrot on a stick.

What do you guys think? Would you have been happy if this was the true end for koth? I mean I'm excited to see what a new version of the Strickland status quo looks like with Hank's new title. But I'm intriguied with what you all think

Thanks for coming to my ted talk

SPOILERS IN TEXT: Halfway through the new season and had a weird question about episode 5

So okay, I haven't finished the new season, but I have been enjoying it...With that said this bothered me so much. This revival has been decent enough with keeping track of the og series. Some nice little references here and there but like-

Did they just forget that John Redcorn and Nancy broke up in the original series or what? Like, the episode didn't seem like it was framed that they relapsed and got back together. Some of the dialogue just seemed like they just never broke it off!

Of course ignore me if somehow a later episodes touches on this a little bit more. But this bothered me so much I felt like I had to make a post lmao. Hope y'all are enjoying the new season

Random fun fact about the recent Cloud Luigi figure for the mario galaxy movie.

If anyone remembers the original mario movie toys. Then you would remember that Mario and Luigi had a little feature where their eyes would follow you.

This feature didn't return for the Mario Galaxy movie toys. Except for cloud Luigi, who does have the following eyes for some reason despite Flying Mario who released at the same time not having them.

Just a random fun fact. I wonder what happened there

Isnt it funny how this moment is like the one time John R is more self aware about the whole nancy thing

Maybe it's cause it's the only moment where the irony/Hypocrisy slaps him in the face. But as the series goes he got a lot more "entitled... Possessive" (for lack of a better word) about Joseph and Nancy. Even after he willingly broke it off once he saw Dale as a friend

Weird question has anyone else been having games where they just die within the first few seconds.

I was playing Ultra rumble before work and two games in a row me and everyone else in the game just died! With the game ending right after that, I assumed it was just a hacker being a jerk but then it happened again with what looked like a different set of players. I unfortunately didn't get a screenshot of the players in time tho but it seems like hackers are getting aggresive

Got armored all might from the nyc store

I gotta say of all of the over one hundred dollars figuarts. This one feels one of the most justified. While he slightly fragile. The amount of detail in this guy is superb and the accessories are fine enough , even if they are missing some things.

Genuinely this thing is 2 and a half years in the making for me, and I'm so happy I have it

Let me tell you my journey with this figure

-In February 2024 I ordered the Figuart Tobey on bbts

-In May after I was finally ready to send it they discovered it had been smushed in the warehouse and refunded me

-I then preordered the mafex on hlj

-It took like a long time to come out, then when it finally did, I couldn't ship it thanks to Trump's tariffs causing delays on everything.

-It took 6 months after HLJ changed the way they did warehouses for me to have the funds to ship it...

...

-That hobby link Japan order then got stolen when it finally arrived at my house..

-I ended up ordering it on Plaza Japan and got it a month and a half later

So yes this figure was actually a 2 years and a half long journey, and I'm so happy to have him now
