What I enjoy about P5X is how relatable it is
But seriously, I do love how the series continues to put significant emphasis on the importance of friendship
Carrington: Never linked ejection vs. Fever to white privilege
I’ll be honest, I’m not sure what she’s saying but I reckon it’s not going to help.
How rare is getting Chihaya as a social activity?
This is only the second time I’ve gotten her and you’ll notice I’m past rank 15 with Manaka…
Do you think Wonder ever accidentally calls his synergies by their Phantom Idol name?
He could probably get away with Ange or even Riddle, but he could get in a lot of trouble for Puppet or especially Vino.
"My brother would be about your age"
I know it's not intended to be a friendzoning, but the conversation with Mio where she's like "my [dead] brother would be about your age now maybe that's why I find it easy to talk to you" sure as heck felt like it. I'm not inclined to have Wonder date non-high schoolers to begin with but this felt like a door slamming.
... I'll probably still become her soulmate but it'll be easier to pay the cost to rewind to friendzone now.
Just finished the third palace
Color me super-impressed. The first two palaces felt like "we have Persona 5 at home" but Palace 3 was downright revelatory. My understanding is they got one of the main writers to start working on P5X with Palace 3 so a gigantic thank you to him for making the dungeon and story design equal to the original game.
No quest/event for the band club after reaching level 10?
While I didn't expect to actually go to a competition I thought there would be something to commemorate the fact that I got to max level. Or do I need to progress further in the main campaign (I'm about to send the calling card for the 3rd palace)?
Short-haired Riko supremacy fans unite!
I’m actually kinda impressed with how fast she was able to grow it out. Extensions maybe?
Question about the beach event
Is it time-gated at all or can I start plowing through the stories/workdays from start to finish in one sitting if I so choose?
Bonus question: where the heck does Minami keep her phone?!?
So who to pull in 4.5/4.6 (at least 30 chars)
I'm skipping the Summer characters for Reasons™, but I was surprised to see Violet and Turbo return.
Is Turbo worth pulling if my two main setups are Violet/Chord/Leon and FC Rin/Matoi/Lufel? Should I try to pull A1 or higher of Violet? What about either weapon, I'm currently using 4* for Violet.
Thanks
What songs in the series do you feel have great bass lines/riffs?
I'm currently learning to play the bass guitar and I've already lined up Infinity and Last Surprise as songs to learn to play. I'm also going to learn the post-chorus riff from Life Will Change.
But I'm curious what other songs you are fond of that have good bass lines or riffs to learn. I know this is a niche question but I figured this would be a good place to start.
Already not looking forward to December
Koromaru, Radiant Closer and an Anniversary character back-to-back-to-back. Fortunately my only must pull before then is Fuuka but I’m going to have to resist the temptation to pull any returns until/if I’ve saved up enough for December.
How far do you think Runa can see in the Shichi-kun outfit?
Because I can’t help but notice she has a clear visual path to Ayaka’s busking. Do you think she sees me spending time with her? Runa seems to be crushing on me (not quite Tomoko levels but I definitely detect it) and I’m concerned it’s going to cause issues if I keep going off with Ayaka while Shichi is forced to watch.
Stanley Cup Champion Carolina Hurricanes coming to Greensboro for a preseason game!
Exciting news for us Piedmont Triad residents! This is the first time they'll be back since they played here for a couple seasons after moving from Hartford (while waiting for the arena in Raleigh to be built).
Hopefully the Stanley Cup will be present for it because I haven't heard word of a state tour like last time.

Am I gimping myself by not romancing anyone?
So after reviewing the options and my own preferences I've decided I don't want to romance any of the current options; I want to save myself for my bandmate Ritsuka.
The question is: does choosing the platonic option every time hurt your character progress? Are the rewards for romance dramatically better than the platonic synergy rewards?
