I used to fish trout as a kid. Been at least 20 years.

I want to get my 4 year old into it but it’s been a long time.

Any suggestions for a decent non toy rod and reel for a kid? And something decent but not crazy expensive to do some bass fishing in Lake Murray SC? It has a lot of different areas to fish. Deep, shallow, creek mouths, pretty much everything.

Hey yall, I’ll be in town for the 4th and saw there are fireworks at Coachman Park. Any suggestions for parking? Website just says “Parking can be found throughout downtown.”

Is it really that easy to park downtown then walk it?

I have been living in a 1960’s house for two years now (central Virginia near blue ridge).

Everything in the system is about 18 months old. It died the first summer. I know I need new windows but the ducts in the basement are not insulated either.

Will insulating them help enough to justify the couple $100 or is it a drop in the bucket and really I just need to bite the bullet and replace the single pain windows?

Just started looking at this for stroping. Do yall strope in between sharpening or only right after?

Is 1 micron good enough for most regular food use?

What’s the better brands? Was looking at the 1-2 shots on Tokushu knife? Was about $10 is that expensive?
