Hi! Are there any gay bars open on Monday? Should I expect crowds?

Hi! Where do locals or gaysians usually go in HK? I heard FLM is more white oriented
Bought my first Superstars and they feel a bit loose, especially around the heel. I tried lacing them in a way that gives them that “loose” look, but then they feel too roomy and my heel starts slipping. Do you guys just tie the laces normally like on other shoes?
Hi all!
Is there any gay bars/clubs in Kunming? Tried to search on google but with no luck, as if there’s no scene at all.
Will the weather be totally unbearable? Seeing 36-37 C + humidity but no sun. Planning to go to both Chengdu and Chongqing.
Hi all!
Any recommendations for good gay bars in Chengdu? Not too loud, where you can chat with someone. Anyone went solo? Is it easy to meet someone or get into groups if I speak only a bit of Chinese? Thanks!
Hi all!
I usually wear a men’s US 9/42.5 EU and went with 42 EU on GG online, did I make a mistake? On the official website a 42 EU corresponds to 27.7 cm which is actually US 10 in nike/new balance, so 0.7 cm extra. 41 EU seems to be the one though I’m not sure.
Hi all!
Are there any LGTBQ bars in Kunming like in Shanghai/Chengdu? Any recommendations? Thanks!
Hi all!
Has anybody been to Kunming/Dali? Are there any gay bars and what’s the scene like? Google so far has given me nothing.
Hi all!
Has anybody tried on the new Manderson jacket? I was wondering if it’s too oversized, I’m 175 cm, 65 kg, thinking of getting either an S or XS so I don’t look like wearing my father’s clothes.
Hi all!
Do you actually like solving cases? I can’t help but hate the process, I’m not curious about the solution, it doesn’t drive me and most of the time I want to get it over with during the process. So I’m conflicted if I’m just lazy or it’s not for me? Like I can’t imagine grinding through 30-40 live cases, I’m basically forcing myself to prepare which hurts my performance because I’m not going all in. Has anybody felt the same and quit the process to target other industries? Open to DMs
Hi all! I got invited to the first round for a BA role at McK. However, I’m currently working as a healthcare consultant at another Fortune 500 company and have about 3 YoE overall. I’m at a bit of a crossroads in my career right now. I’ve decided that after consulting, I’d like to move into big pharma, and since I’m already in the industry and working with major pharma clients, that transition probably wouldn’t be too difficult.
I’ve always wanted to join MBB. I guess it’s a combination of things that appeals to me: the lifestyle, prestige, perks, and exposure to large-scale local and international projects. At my current company, I don’t really get opportunities to travel. At the same time, after spending some time in consulting, I realized that this type of work where you bend over backwards for clients may not be the best fit for me long term, and I’d probably rather work in industry instead at this point.
On top of that, case interview prep requires a serious mental and physical investment, and I’m not sure I currently have the energy for it. Besides, there are some things out of your control that determine whether you’ll get in or not. I’m considering withdrawing my application for now, but at the same time, who knows whether I’ll get another shot at MBB in the future.
What do you think?
Hi all!
I’m currently working as a healthcare management consultant at a Fortune 500 company. I’ve been in the role for about a year, and while the compensation is solid, I’m exploring an industry exit into strategy or analyst roles within big pharma.
Prior to consulting, I worked as an analyst in another industry, so I believe I have enough experience to target mid-level roles.
I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone with experience in pharma strategy, particularly around the transition from consulting and how the work compares in terms of pace and structure. I’m also curious about typical perks in big pharma (e.g., meals, travel policies, offsites, etc.).
