Is it possible to recover a group that has been restricted for violating content policies?

Telegram restricted a public group because of content that violated the platform’s terms. However, it was an oversight. It was a public group about audio devices, and at one point, while the admin wasn’t paying attention, a b00t joined and started posting NSFW content, which caused the group to be restricted.

The admin noticed it too late and deleted the content from the group, but by then it was already too late. However, the admin told me that they sent the /appeal command to the AbuseNotifications b00t and now all they can do is wait.

Knowing that Telegram has very little human support and seems to rely heavily on AI moderation, has anyone actually managed to recover a group in a situation like this? Or should I just tell them to give up hope?

Notification issues when using 2 WhatsApp accounts in 1 app instance

I've been reading about this issue in several posts, and I'd like to know if anyone else is experiencing it and, more importantly, if anyone has found a solution.

I use 2 WhatsApp accounts in the same app instance. I do not use Samsung Dual Messenger — it's just one WhatsApp app with 2 accounts.

I've noticed that WhatsApp or samsung seems to handle call notifications differently depending on which account is currently active/inactive.

For example, if the last account I used before leaving WhatsApp and returning to the home screen was Account 1, and someone calls me on Account 2, the call doesn't ring. Instead, I only get a regular message notification, so I often miss the call.

Calls are only properly notified when they come to whichever account I used most recently, regardless of whether it's Account 1 or Account 2. The account that remains in the background/inactive doesn't properly notify incoming WhatsApp calls.

I've already tried:

  • Removing all battery restrictions for WhatsApp
  • Checking and enabling all notification categories
  • Enabling the "Inactive account" notification category
  • Enabling sound, vibration, and pop-up notifications
  • Checking WhatsApp's own notification settings

Nothing has fixed it.

The only solution suggested by AI so far has been to use Samsung Dual Messenger, basically cloning WhatsApp so each account runs in a separate app instance. However, I don't think that should be necessary, since WhatsApp's multi-account feature is supposed to support receiving notifications for both accounts.

I'm using a Galaxy S23 (base model) with One UI 8.0.

Has anyone else experienced this? If so, were you able to fix it without using Dual Messenger?

Notification issues when using 2 WhatsApp accounts in 1 app instance

What's going on with cards in Telegram??

I've been trying to buy Telegram Stars for the past 3 days, and none of my cards work. I have 10+ cards, and they all have more than enough available balance!!

The same thing happened before when I tried to pay for Telegram Premium, but the card that worked back then doesn't go through anymore. I'm from Latin America.

I know I can pay through Fragment using crypto, but I'd rather pay directly with my cards. :///

Is anyone else having this issue, or has anyone found a solution?

Power Banks I Use With My Galaxy S23 (Recommendations)

I've been using my Galaxy S23 for quite a while now, and like many others, I eventually found myself needing a power bank. Since I've accumulated a few over time, I wanted to share my recommendations for anyone looking for something reliable and reasonably priced. If you use the same models or have other recommendations feel free to share them in the comments.

These are the three power banks I use with my S23:

  • Anker Nano 5,000 mAh(white): My favorite for everyday use. It's incredibly compact, fits in a pocket, has dual connectivity, and it's the one I use the most. It gives me about one full charge, which is usually enough to get me through the rest of the day.
  • Anker PowerCore Metro Essential 20,000 mAh PD(black): Excellent overall. It's still lightweight and surprisingly slim, so carrying it in a backpack is no problem. It has about four times the capacity of the Nano, giving me several full charges, and it supports fast charging.
  • Master-G 30,000 mAh 22.5W (UCP30LPD)(blue): The biggest one by far. It has the highest capacity, but it's also much heavier basically a brick. I only keep it at home for power outages or take it on camping trips. Would I recommend it? Absolutely, but not as something you'd want to carry around every day.

I'm not including purchase links since I'm in Latin America, and prices and availability vary a lot from country to country.

"t . me" is down?

None of the "t . me" invitation links are working in a web browser. They only work when opened from within the Telegram app.

Those Who Updated to One UI 8.5

It's been a while since most people received the One UI 8.5 update, so I'd like to hear your honest opinions.

  • How's your battery life?
  • Is it draining faster, or did you actually gain some screen-on time?
  • How do you feel about the camera quality after the update?
  • Do you think the update is worth it just for a few new animations and customization options?

I'd really appreciate hearing your real-world experiences before deciding whether to update.

Do you keep Bluetooth enabled or disabled?

As far as I know, there isn't much difference in battery consumption between keeping Bluetooth on or off. When it's enabled but not connected to any device, the power usage seems to be minimal. Battery consumption increases when it's actively transmitting data (for example, when using wireless earbuds), but even then it appears to be relatively low.

I'm curious about what you all do. Do you leave Bluetooth on all the time, or do you turn it on and off depending on whether you're using it?

Question About Channel Statistics Time

https://preview.redd.it/tkcuzp8m2v0h1.png?width=506&format=png&auto=webp&s=83de17f0d2ad2a8aa00c380074999e0f476053d4

I have a question about my channel statistics.
In the views-per-hour graph, does it show the general UTC time, or does it already display the hours based on my country’s timezone? Or do I need to convert it to my local time myself? For example, Chile is UTC-4.

This graph only shows UTC, so I hope someone can clarify this for me. I want to know exactly what time I should post on my channel to get more views.

I adopted a power bank for everyday use

2 years with the base S23, and the latest update dropped my screen-on time from a little over 5 hours to around 4 hours. I know I could probably fix it with a hard reset, but honestly, I’m too lazy to do it.

So I bought this Anker battery pack and I love how small it is. It’s rated at 5,000mAh, but as we all know, the real usable capacity is different because some energy is lost as heat. It gives around 3900mAh in practice, which leaves me very satisfied, because I only need to charge my phone once during the day and then I have enough battery for the rest of the day until I get home.

There are other 10,000mAh power banks out there, but for now this is enough. I’ve never been too obsessed with battery life, but the drop after the latest update was noticeable. I’d rather not become paranoid about battery usage and just enjoy my flagship phone and its 120Hz display :))))

I totally recommend it. The exact model is the Anker A1653, it cost me $20 USD, the build quality is really good, and it fits in a pocket.
