Help - I keep losing track of enemies at close range

I struggle a lot with losing track of my target after I dash onto them. I often end up just as disoriented as they are. Are there any warm-ups or aim training scenarios you'd suggest to improve this part of my Genji gameplay?

As flex DPS, waiting to engage on a deep angle/flank feels like I'm baiting my team.

Am I the only one that feels this way? Like, the last thing I want to be is that Genji that just lurks behind the enemy team and never helps, but if I try to pressure from my angle and create crossfire in the prefight or even midfight, an enemy DPS + support just turn around and kill me. I also don't want to be the guy that only gets garbage cleanup frags in already-won fights. It always winds up with me feeling like I need to do something and then maybe getting a kill on my angle before I die to three people focus firing me.

Sneaking vs. poking

How do you decide whether to sneak around and set up a flank vs. hold an angle and poke with shuriken?

Aim training workshop code for practicing against specific heroes?

I have a hard time hitting flying heroes (specifically Juno, Mercy, and Echo). Is there a workshop code that will spawn a bunch of these heroes and let me shoot at them?

Learning Genji and struggling with spacing. How did you good Genji players internalize the correct dash distance to put yourself in the perfect combo position?

Or are you guys just pinging the enemy every time?

What's the difference between off-angling and flanking?

Is it LOS of your supports? Distance from your tank? Depth of the angle?

Dear Overwatch players: it's "peek", "queue", and "cue".

You're peeking an angle, not "peaking" it.

When you're waiting for a game, you're in queue, not "que".

The signal for when something happens is a cue.

Thank you.

How do you play DPS with a DPS Moira on your team?

I'm sure everyone here has seen the replies to "how do I rank up as support?" posts that all say, 'just play Moira and kill things yourself'. I respect this sentiment; I just don't know how to play with these people when they're on my team. I understand that I can't control what my teammates do and I'm not going to flame these people or tell them to switch because it's pointless.

These Moira players are typically so focused on flanking and doing damage that healing the DPS on their team is a secondary concern, and my other support is (justifiably) focused on healing the tank. This kinda leaves me in a situation where I cannot contest angles, because taking any poke damage from the enemy DPS puts me at risk of dying and forces me to retreat.

Is the answer just 'pick Soldier 76' every game?

Is pressuring the non-dive enemy tank as DPS worthwhile?

I know it's good to poke dive tanks so that they can't engage at full health, but it's less clear when I'm dealing with something like an Orisa or Rammatra. Let's say I'm playing Soldier 76 and I have an opportunity to deal 200-300 damage to the enemy tank with no risk to myself, while my tank is currently engaged with them (not an actual committed fight but poking at the chokepoint). The enemy tank probably isn't going to die. Does that damage meaningfully help my tank jostle for a better position, or is it a waste of my time and should I just keep moving to my angle instead?

Best tank to learn tanking fundamentals?

I'm a DPS main and I want to improve my gamesense via better understanding of the tank perspective. I play Wrecking Ball, but he's obviously not representative of typical tank gameplay. What tank should I learn if I want to play better with my tanks as DPS? This sentence is extra text to get to the 300 character minimum.

Why is traffic always so much worse on Tuesdays and Thursdays?

Been commuting here for a minute and I can't be the only one who noticed this trend. What gives? It's seriously like 50% worse on those days.
