We always want to make sure we are doing the best (in our limited powers) to support an active user base. We cant please everyone but for the people who use this subreddit as a means to find new music (and potentially socialize) we want to make sure we

#Some thoughts on our position

• We have an active discord for day to day discussions on music. While not everyone uses discord or wants to use another app for discussions, by and large our social events have moved to that platform. This doesn't mean we can not have a social thread here if there is enough interest.

• We have no plans on trying to generate engagement activity with images, popular bands, memes, etc. There are other places you can go to get that sort of thing and if you want things like r/metalforthemasses then that sort of place will be better suited. We would like to continue providing resources for people who want to discover metal beyond the surface level.

• Reddit is sort of annoying for trying to organize things on a large scale. Between the disparity between old and new reddit and the upkeep of having to update both things, Reddit as a site does not make modding easy. We still keep up with things but if you ever notice things are painfully outdated its becasue the site makes it fucking frustrating to do things. Also with that said, reddit as a site and company has really become a shell of its former self and at least from my perspective gives very little motivation to try and build a community when the only thing it seems to be good for is engagement farming. WITH THAT SAID...sometimes people only use reddit and for those who do and want to build a small community I have always been interested in giving people the tools and space to do so. I have been on r/metal for almost 15 years and would like to continue to help out until reddit forces me to use New Reddit then ill just sell my account (ha joking unless there is a serious buyer)

• Overall the traffic to this site has trended down over the last year and I have no idea if that is across the board for reddit or if it even matters. It is not out job to get as many people in here as possible rather support the ones who show up for our activities.

Did this change? I feel like when our invader would go over and get an army of one, the enemy prim3evil wouldn't heal as much as in seasons past. It feels like gambit is now based on who can summon their primeval quickest and burn it down.

I know gambit has always been the cousin no one talks about but I love the game and if there was a change or a bug would liek to be aware of it so my fireteam can play around it.

We are delighted to have Mortiis come join us on Thursday to answer your questions in support of his new album Ghosts of Europa.

On Thursday (not here) we will put up a thread around 11am EST to let questions collect and Mortiis will join us around 1pm. Feel free to ask anything about older material, newer material, favorite sodas he likes to take on tour.
