What are some good songs that remind you somewhat of Mortal Engines or that general theme. Everything on google is either not what I'm looking for or AI slop, but what are some ones you enjoy/can find?
To clarify I don't particularly mean just mortal engines themed things, just generally that post-war large change stuff I suppose. (If you know what I mean)
Recently finishing the trio and I think its pretty good all things considered. If i had to chose a downside id say its oddly paced sometimes, especially climaxes where the last 20 pages of the book basically go twice as fast. Cant think of anything else, it has a few themes I enjoy. It was super nice to see Grike, and Natsworthy mentioned. One of my favourite things was the reference to how in the very end Grike says hes a remembering machine, and we see how that was the original use of stalkers. I like themes of future people learning about us and our odd ways. What were your favourite/least favourite parts?
Mostly just wondering what the general consensus/maybe explained later is on some in my opinion, open ended things are. For example, do Fever and Cluny get together? Does Arlo make a 737 (what becomes of him)? Does Charley become Lord Mayor? Im personally okay with spoilers from other books if necessary, ive read all of ME, night flights, and fever crumb and I don't particularly plan to get the other stuff for awhile.
This is the chosen mannequin.
He floats in the sky,
using his great powers to fly.
All hail the chosen mannequin!
I was bored so obviously did a quick read of the entire wiki, how do you think the relationships of Dr. Max or Dr. Ena could be built? Are they probably just going to be placeholders and background or would there actually be some way to have at least an Easteregg event of something if you try hard enough. Along with the characters that got removed. It's hard to think about how the characters would be built on but still keep the isolation of the game.
Does the price change? Is it vaguely random? I sold 8 drives in a drive box for only 120 points, that feels way too low, right? They're all level 3 drives and all green-lights.
I'm trying to get my whole area clean and I've been putting off the window because it takes forever. I like things nice and tidy, so I'm sure you can see why these windows suck.
I mean, of course I get why, its because it's essentially just 1.5x inventory space, but also like... that's over 3x the price of the backpack. Make it 200-300 or something, 500 is absurd for both game-balance and in-game lore reasons. (Lore just being "why would this be here")
Happy pride month people and playgrounds! I hope this is following the "stay on-topic" rule, since I helped these nice folks get in this position.
I first kind of thought of this due to thinking how the pictures of the movie I saw didn't fit at all with what I imagined. Personally I always felt it was like, a steampunk civilization of somesort. Of course movies take different approaches but I also feel as if especially the main chatacters are almost... too main character-looking in the movie. Tom is a random kid from London and Hester is a scarred child, their charm feels taken away. Anyway I'm ranting about a movie I didn't watch yet but yeah, I wonder how others imagine Mortal Engines personally.
Other than "I" and "a" and whatnot, what do you think is the fastest word to type. I personally think "today" since the letters are far and easy to place your fingers on beforehand. ("Today" is what I got this with)
