Female Looking For — 21F looking for genuine online friends :)

Hey!! 21F here :D I’m looking to make some new online friends and hopefully find some people I actually click with. I don’t really have many close friends right now, so I’d love to change that and meet some people I can genuinely become friends with, maybe even besties lol.
I mostly play Fortnite, RDR, Roblox, Valorant, Minecraft, and a bunch of other stuff. I’m honestly pretty bad at Val right now, but I actually wanna get better, so if you’re willing to suffer through some questionable gameplay with me, even better 😭 I’ve also been wanting to try Marvel Rivals and I’m always down to pick up a new game.
Outside of gaming, I’m really into Pokémon, anime, TADC, drawing, and pretty much anything nerdy. I’m a PC gamer and I live in Colorado with my boyfriend. I’d love to find people I can actually talk to and hang out with, whether we’re gaming, sitting in VC, sending each other random TikToks, or just yapping about whatever.
I’m mainly looking for genuine friendships and people I can actually get to know instead of just adding each other and never talking again lol. If you’re also looking for someone to game with, chat with, and hopefully become actual friends with, feel free to message me! :)

Looking for local community + hobby buddies

Hello! 21F here 👋 I recently moved back to the Grand Junction area and I’m hoping to get a little more involved in the local community!
I’m into gardening, video games, anime, drawing, Pokémon, and I’m always down to try out new hobbies. I’d especially love to find some other girls who are into similar things, but I’m happy to chat with anyone who’s cool and looking for more people to do things with!
Just looking to make some friends and find some fun hobbies/activities around GJ :) 🫶

i’m so introverted it kills me

21F and feeling like I’m wasting my early 20s because I have no friends
I’m 21F and honestly feeling really depressed and lonely lately. I don’t really have any actual friends. I have some acquaintances that I’ll talk to here and there, and I do have a boyfriend, which I’m really grateful for, but I still desperately wish I had a group of friends of my own.
I live in a small town, which makes things even harder. A lot of the friendships I had growing up have slowly faded over the years, and at this point, I feel like they’re past the point of being able to go back to how they were. Most of those people live far away now anyway. Even when I was still around some of them, I sometimes felt like they didn’t really want me around, which honestly hurt a lot.
I feel like I’m missing out on so much of being in my early 20s. I see people going out together, having game nights, going on random adventures, getting dressed up and going to bars, taking trips, celebrating birthdays, or just hanging out with their friends, and I feel like I’m watching everyone else live while I’m just sitting on the sidelines.
I don’t want my boyfriend to be my only source of friendship either. I love him, but I want people I can text randomly, make plans with, go shopping with, have girls’ nights with, or just sit around and do absolutely nothing with.
I know 21 is still young, but I’m scared that I’m going to blink and be 25 or 30 and realize I spent these years feeling lonely. I genuinely don’t know how people make friends at this age, especially when you don’t have a built-in friend group anymore.
Has anyone else been in this position? How did you actually make friends in your 20s when you basically had no friends to begin with? I could really use some advice because I’m feeling pretty hopeless about it right now.

Help me decide

Hello everyone! I wanted to come on here because I’m currently stuck between two career paths and would really love some advice from people who have experience in either field.
I just finished my first two years of college, and I’m at the point where I need to start taking my major-specific classes. I’m trying to decide between becoming an elementary school teacher or going into social work. Both degrees would take me around the same amount of time, so that isn’t really a deciding factor for me.
For those who are teachers or social workers, what do you like and dislike about your career? What do you wish you knew before choosing your degree? I’m especially interested in hearing about the day-to-day work, stress/burnout, pay, work-life balance, and how rewarding you find it.
I’ve also heard that the education route requires some pretty major exams. Are they difficult to pass? I have a really good GPA, but I’m definitely not the strongest test-taker, so that’s something I’m a little worried about.
I’m honestly just trying to make the best decision for myself and would appreciate any advice, especially from people who have actually worked in these fields. Thank you!! :)
