Give 2 weeks notice?

I thankfully found another job and I want out ASAP, i don’t know if I can mentally or physically take another call. My supervisor is awful and so is this job.

If I just quit without notice will it affect future employment? (Not at the same company obviously)

Or should I give a 2 week notice?

Inpatient Coding help

So I accepted a job offer for an inpatient role, although I was trained/certified in outpatient.

If i gave myself a crash course in the next 2 weeks, what would you say is the most important concepts to learn when just starting out?

Getting put on a PIP?

Ive been here for 4 1/2 yrs, the past year has been constant script changes, added responsibility, shuffled between leaders/teams. QA audits went from once a month to twice a week.

I was a top performer for a long time, and still am when it comes to customer conversion percent (soft sales) but QA is killing me, I’m not a robot

I went on FMLA for 2 months and it’s like it all went to hell and because I’m still adjusting to the changes and communication seems not consistent and clear between leaders, I am on a PIP. Should I just expect to be fired?

Ive been looking for new jobs for the past 2 months anyways this is awful, expectations are completely unrealistic

Is this a good sign after an interview?

I think the interview went well, I sent a thank you email right after and the hiring manager immediately replied and said “It was great interacting with you, I look forward to speaking with you soon :) “ or am I looking too far into it?! I’m so nervous lol

Side effects after a year?

Ive been on 1 mg oral minoxidil and spironolactone (female) for a year now and had no bad side effects. But for the past 3 days I’ve had chest tightness, shortness of breath and some heart palpitations. Is my medication a likely culprit or not really? I feel like this would have shown up before a year but i don’t know. I have a doctors appt tomorrow

Ive been on Minoxidil 1 mg/Spironolactone 60 mg oral for a year now and I had great progress but in the past month I’ve been shedding hair like crazy and my ive lost A LOT of progress by the looks of it.

No triggers for the shedding that I can think of

I have an appointment with a derm in a month but… could this be temporary? I see some cases of 2nd shedding around a 8 months-1 year on minox but Im terrified of my hair going back to what it was. I was so happy with my progress. Help

What dose of minox/spiro are you taking?

If you are currently taking oral minoxidil and/or spiro, what is your dosage and for how long? What has been your experience?

I don’t feel welcomed to the field

As a new coder it feels like the senior coders who have been coding for 50 years have sort of a disdain for new coders. They tell me I have it much easier with all the resources now and Im lucky to be in a senior role relatively quickly… I get that.

I don’t think they realize entry level pure coding jobs may be turning into higher level responsibility a lot quicker due to AI. Although AI is wrong a lot still it can be a good teacher into where to look

Should I increase my dose? Hair thinning again

Ive been on oral 60 mg spiro / 1 mg minox for a year. It worked great and had a lot of progress but ive been shedding a ton lately and looks like im losing progress overall, no triggers for this hair loss. I realize this is a pretty low dose, do I ask for an increase or wait it out?

Interview Tips?

I have an interview coming up and it has been a few years since Ive had to do one. I struggle with general questions like “Tell me about yourself” or “Tell me about a time”. When a question is so broad I go blank and feel like I cant fully convey what I want to say. I can talk about the technical questions all day and why I’m passionate about the job but I want to appear personable which I really struggle with.

I’ve rehearsed over and over what I may want to say to these questions but it still feels robotic and stiff. Sigh

Anyone else’s mental health rapidly deteriorating lately?

Ive been at this same job (a pharmacy call center) for 4 1/2 years, I used to be able to regulate how I feel and it didn’t seem so bad but its gotten WAY worse.

I don’t know if it’s people that have gotten worse or intense burnout or a combination - I’ve applied to hundreds of jobs after getting a certification in medical coding but not even an interview. I feel stuck.

Tips for finding a job as cpc-a?

I recently became cpc-a certified but Im close to having the A removed when completing AAPC Practicode because I have the 80 hour courses done. Should I pause applying for jobs until I have the A removed or does it even matter? Ive applied for 50-100 jobs so far. Ive been working as a pharmacy tech for 5 years and have been a health insurance agent but trying to pivot to coding

Anyone else shed more hair with L’oreal shampoo?

Ive tested this theory using loreal dream lengths and the hyaluronic acid shampoos multiple times because Im more on the skeptical end of shampoo being a culprit but - every time I swap to a non loreal shampoo my hair sheds dramatically less. Is it really the shampoo?

I’m trying to maximize the amount of hairs I can keep on my head lol
