well hii to everyone, mine name is Kayla, and it’s nice to meet you all.I turned 43 this year, which still feels a little strange to say out loud. I recently moved into the fourth house I’ve ever bought, this time a little outside the city where I’ve spent most of my adult life.

I’m originally from Germany, but I moved to the United States as a teenager because I was given the opportunity to pursue what I felt was a better and more positive education and overall future than what was available to me back home at that time. I ended up settling in Ohio, and somehow I’ve now been here for almost 30 years. Honestly, I still can’t believe how quickly those years passed. It genuinely feels like I arrived here yesterday, and suddenly an entire chapter of my life has gone by.

One of the biggest blessings in my life has been becoming a mother. I have two wonderful kids, who are currently 8 and 6, and they’ve completely changed the way I look at life. They’re easily one of the most important and meaningful parts of my world.

I also went through a divorce three years ago, so yes, I’m currently single. It took some time to adjust to that chapter of my life, but these days I’m actually grateful for where I am and for the meaningful opportunity to focus on myself, my family, and the things that genuinely make me happy!

As for my personality and interests, I’m honestly someone who can get excited about a ridiculous number of things. I absolutely love food and cooking, and I’ve developed a real appreciation for farming and growing things myself. I’m also a huge gaming fan, I enjoy shopping far more than I probably should, and I love swimming, short walks, yoga, exploring nature, and basically finding excuses to spend time outdoors.

I’ve always had a soft spot for animals too. I love pets, I love helping them, and I could probably stop whatever I’m doing if there’s an animal nearby that wants some attention.

and then there’s my guilty pleasure binge watching anything goofy, popular, entertaining, or completely ridiculous. Sometimes I want something meaningful and thought-provoking, and other times I just want to switch my brain off and enjoy something silly for a few hours.

I guess that’s probably enough of an introduction for now. Those are some of the things that have shaped me and the things that genuinely make me who I am. I’m definitely not perfect, but I try to stay curious, appreciate the little things, keep learning, and enjoy this strange journey we all goes through, wishing you all wonderful and sweet hughs!!!
