How do you open an HTML file with Notepad through context menu?

Windows 11 Home
Version 25H2
OS Build 26200.9168

Ryzen 7 9850X3D
GeForce RTX 5080
64GB Ram

I right-click the HTML file.
Hover on “Open with”.
Notepad is not listed.
I click “Choose another app”.
It still does not list Notepad under suggestions or more options.
I click “Choose an app on your PC”.
It brings up C:/Program Files, but again, Notepad is not anywhere to be found.

Do PowerSpec prebuilt not come with mounting screws?

So I just bought a $3,000 PowerSpec PC from microcenter and have been setting it up.

I’m now at a point where I’m looking to add my old SSD and HDD for some extra storage. Only I’m just realizing there were no extra parts in the box though, except for 1 cable for sata and 1 power supply cord.

Is this normal? Shouldn’t there have been some screws and other extras? I haven’t bought PC parts in a decade, but they used to come with a ton of extra cables, screws, etc. I would have expected microcenter to include them in the box. Am I just old? Lol

Enabling XMP / EXPO on ASRock X870 Pro-A WiFi

Hi, purchased a PowerSpecG762 recently and trying to set it up. I’ve read about enabling XML / Expo to get the RAM running to advertised speeds. New to making these types of changes and having a little confusion from what I’m reading and what I’m seeing as my options on the Bios.

I have two sticks of Trident Z5
DDRS-6000 CL38-48-48-96 1,25.
32Gx1 XMP 3.0 + EXPC

Main bios page shows:
Processor Type: AMD Ryzen 7 9850X3D 8-Core Processor
Max Speed: 5650MHZ
Total Memory: 64GB
DDR5_A1: Not Present
DDR5_A2: DDR5-5600-32GB @6000Mhz
DDR5_B1: Not Present
DDR5_B2: DDR5-5600-32GB @6000Mhz
Manufacturer Name
: MicroElectronics

OC Tweaks page has the settings, which I’m pretty sure is what I’m looking to change under:

DRAM Profile Setting > Auto

  1. DDR5-5600 46-45-45-90 1.10V
  2. XMP1-6000 38-48-48-96 1.25V
  3. EXPO-6000 38-48-48-96 1.25V

It would seem Auto is going with #1. What I’m unclear about is whether its option 2 or 3 I want to see it to and what the difference there is.

Advice on replacing my decade old gaming PC

It's time! Current PC is becoming unreliable and let's face it, due for an upgrade. I'm not new to building PCs, but I have been out of the building scene for a long while.

I'm aware of the current price insanity and with that I'm not looking to build the best of the best (as much as I would love to). Aiming for around the $2,000 mark, but flexible in either direction. Building with future upgrades in mind would be nice. If I can reuse my current case, that'd be nice, but obviously depends on capability with newer hardware.

I'm building primarily for gaming, but also do web development (though primarily use my MB Pro for that).

Any advice is appreciated. Mainly looking for references on where to start. Be it particular hardware or good youtube videos / channels.

Current PC:

Case:
Corsair 600T CC600TWM-WHT R

Motherboard:
Z97-GAMING-5

Graphics Cards (SLI):
2X EVGA GeForce GTX 570 HD 1280 MB GDDR5

CPU:
Intel Core i5-4690K Processor 3.5 GHz LGA 1150

CPU Cooler:
Corsair Hydro Series H80 High Performance Liquid CPU Cooler

Ram:
Corsair Vengeance Blue 16 GB DDR3 SDRAM Dual Channel Memory Kit

Power Supply:
Corsair RM1000I FM 80+G ATX PSU

Edit:
Forgot to mention, but my current monitor is ASUS PA329CV, so a 4k monitor, but limited to 60Hz.

Media Streaming + Document Backups

First look into NAS. I’ve always done things primarily from my desktop setup, along with keeping physical backups on externals and cloud, but I’m currently looking to expand my knowledge and setup. I also utilize Jellyfin for home streaming and do that off my desktop.

So my two main use-cases:
- Setup in-network streaming for media (movie, tv, music). I don’t need remote access. More or less for daily use. I do *not* care about backing up these media types.

- Store backups of computers, home photos, videos, and documents. Intended for backup. Does not need to be regularly accessed.

I’m mostly curious on the direction of what I should be researching for these particular scenarios. Are there good setups that will fulfill both of these scenarios? Are there alternative setups that may be better?
