Fees - Am I missing something?

Fees - Am I missing something?

I just made my first sale. I charged £50 and £7 international shipping (shipping was too low by a few pounds, but that's on me for not checking).

Buyer got charged £68.97, I got paid £47.65, I then had to pay £13.10 shipping. I'm left with £34.55.

How come I was charged so much? Why wasn't I paid the full £57? (Cost+shipping)

I was expecting to lose out the £6.10 shipping difference from my mistake, and the seller fee/taxes. But I'm at a crazy loss here. Have I done something wrong? How does anyone make any money on this site if this is all correct?

(Edited to change some numbers I misunderstood)

Does the real RAB CD have the connected 4 or the unconnected 4 in the barcode? I have one and everything seems legit but I'm not sure which 4 is real.

Question about a term I can't remember

Hi all, one of my friends has an SCI (A) and I'm just talking to someone else (B) about something that A mentioned to me but I can't remember the term for it.

I was trying to give an update to B about As current situation and I've described what I mean but I know there's a term.

A is not feeling very well because the other day they had an injury they didn't know about because they can't feel their legs. They had unrelated symptoms arise though as a way for their body to let them know something was wrong below their level of paralysis - things like high BP, sweating, nausea, etc and it started pretty suddenly and got worse until they figured out what was wrong and treated it. Friend A told me the name of it but I can't remember. Does anyone here know what it is I'm trying to describe?

Will the merch at Wembley be available outside before doors?

I can't get there till doors (access needs), but it seems they're selling merch beforehand at these UK shows. Is it likely that all the vinyls and date-specific shirts will have sold out by the time doors open? Does anyone know if there's a specific place I can go to get merch when I'm there? Some places have dedicated access merch lines and I've never been to Wembley.

Have rainbow dust sticks/sherbet straws been discontinued?

I used to get the bags of several mini straws with sherbet inside, or the giant ones like a meter tall. I'd often see them in newsagents or smaller shops, but haven't seen them in years. Have they been discontinued?

Is there a way to get off-brand cartridges to work on a Canon Pixma?

I have a Canon Pixma TS5151 and I was buying Tesco brand inks for it. A few weeks ago it said it was out of ink after only printing a few pages. I figured that the batch was bad. Bought another pack at a different store but same issue has happened again. I got maybe 20 pages out of it. I thought supermarket brand inks were supposed to work alright in Canon printers, so I contacted Canon about the issue and they just said I'm supposed to only use Canon inks. They are like double the price and I'm a student, I can't afford it. What can I do?

Eye patch suggestions for Autistic person with latex allergy

A friend of mine has just been told they have to start wearing an eye patch. They're Autistic and have an allergy to latex plasters. The Autism is meaning they struggle with the eye patches with straps and the paper glasses covers. The allergy means they can't use standard adhesive patches. Any recommendations? Are there hypoallergenic adhesive ones? We are in the UK if that impacts any suggestions! Thanks :)

IPOP (UK)

Hi everyone - me again!

Wondering if anyone in the UK has had an IPOP? I've only seen posts from people in the USA with one, but it looks ideal. Wondering if anyone knows if the NHS do it at all?

Cremation of limb (UK)

Anyone have any experience with getting their limb cremated after removal? (UK)

I'm getting my lower leg amputated soon but don't like the idea of it just being incinerated by the hospital and gone. I'd like to keep it and get it cremated so I can keep the ashes. Is this even something I can request? Who do I talk to about it? How much will it cost? Anyone done it?
