Puffballs are out in the area
Found a couple giant puffballs and smut corn. Earliest I have seen both.

Did a 425km ride that started at dawn and finished at 11pm. The last 2 hours in the dark were the best. Temps dropped, wind went away and the roads were peaceful.
Love night rides.
I have the 12s wireless XTR paired to my Garmin head unit. The derailleur battery level indicator and warning seems to be off/late.
Have now twice had Garmin at the start of a ride display what looks like around half and no warning and about 20 min into the ride goes into critical level on the display and a warning.
Seeing if anyone else sees the same on any of the units.
Last night narrowly avoided 2 of us being run over by an inattentive driver while cycling. Ironically, even though I hear we never do it, it was while we stopped at a stop sign. One of us was clipped.
I run front and rear video cameras at all times. Driver was charged with careless due to the video.
We all just want to get home alive. The roads in London have been getting worse for all users on, or even near, roads. Slowing down and paying attention can save your life and the lives of others.
Last night before our local club race we were warming up on some country roads. While we were at a stop sign, the driver literally drove at us taking the corner sharp. Had we both not jumped sideways it would have been way worse than being clipped.
Our police attended the scene and charged with careless driving ONLY due to the fact I had clear video of the entire event. Without it, the officer would have had a he said/she said and would have been at worst a warning.
I run the garmin Varia camera radar rear and their Varia camera light front. It integrates well but many options exist.
I went all in and added the front after a club mate had a hit and run last year.
Blows my mind how people behind the wheel are oblivious to things around them. She was just not paying attention.
