I'm in average shape - not overweight, eating reasonably healthy and have a fit but not athletic physique. The last time I trained in martial arts was a one year stint in Wing Chun about 30 years ago. So I'm effectively starting at zero.
I had my first class at a local MMA gym yesterday and the next oldest guy in the class was almost certainly less than half my age. I had to take the occasional break while everyone else was steaming through their drills, but I made it through, albeit with some roughed-up shins from kicking the bag. The instructor was nothing but supportive and encouraging, and I left the gym exhausted and in good spirits.
The day after, I'm still a little sore (I probably should have worn a knee brace), but I look forward to making this a part of my weekly routine. I plan to add in grappling and maybe Muay Thai down the road. The gym also offers a separate beginner class which I should probably look into.
Thanks in advance, friends.
EDIT: Just saw this helpful thread:
The details listed for the Bella+Canvas 3001 t-shirt indicate that average production time for US orders is 1.5 days, and that shipping is 2 to 5 business days. But I have "Ritchie" telling me something quite different:
>You’re right to flag that—an average production time shown on the product page (like 1.5 days) isn’t a guarantee for every order. In general, most orders are shipped within 2–7 business days after the order is submitted...
So what does "average production time" even mean in this scenario, if "most" orders take significantly longer? These are two mutually exclusive claims! I currently have to try to find a way to explain to a US customer why his order isn't estimated to be received until 10 business days after he placed the order, which is bordering on international shipping times.
Has anyone else run into this, and is anyone from Printify active on this sub who could shed some light on this backwards scenario?

Sadly I never had the opportunity to eat there; my dad tells me it was something special.
Any recommended alternatives serving similar, Balkan-style cuisine?
I'm looking to contextualize both the OT genealogies and the ones found in Luke and Matthew. Thanks!
Greetings in the Lord!
Can anyone refer me to a resource compiling the cosmological views/writings of the Church Fathers? For example: what do they say about the shape of the Earth, its position, the structure of the cosmos, etc.?
From what I gather thus far, insofar as they specifically addressed cosmology, they more or less adopted the Hellenistic model of a geocentric cosmos with a stationary, spherical Earth at its center, surrounded by a series of moving, nested spheres housing the celestial bodies. But I'd like to see if there is a book(s) or some other reference source that compiles all such references together.
(By Church Fathers, for the sake of delineating a scope, I'm referring to the generations of Fathers prior to the Great Schism, both Eastern and Western.)
Thanks!
