Apply for multiple jobs?

Hi,

I've been working with Micro1 for about a month now, and I'm really enjoying it so far.

I had a quick question: if I have expertise in another role that's currently open, would it be okay for me to apply for it while I'm already working with Micro1?

Thanks!

Having hard time monetizing my Newsletter

I grew my newsletter to 16k subs over time. Now, I don't know how to monetize this effectively.

I tried subscriptions. 60 subs so far. Opening rate at 25% - 30%.

I am still feeling like there is something I am doing wrong. There are better ways you could do Newsletter business.

How are you doing the business side of your Substack newsletter? Would really appreciate your suggestions :)

Any Cloud, DevOps Experts here?

I am looking for an expert who loves technical writing and wants to share their expertise and solutions. Not full-time; will pay per article.

The content would focus on AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Linux, Terraform, DevOps, and cloud engineering in general. I'm looking for someone who can explain technical concepts clearly and write content that developers actually enjoy reading.

If any professional here has some extra time outside 9/5 and loves to share your expertise, let me know.

Will share more information via DM.

Nabil iCard is worst

They charge you 500rs for every top-up and a certain $ in every transaction. Not recommended.

What are you all using?

Client being unresponsive

I've become increasingly frustrated with one aspect of Upwork: unresponsive clients.

Many clients post a job and then disappear. Their profile shows "Last viewed by client: weeks ago." No one has been invited. No interviews have been scheduled. The job just sits there.

Meanwhile, freelancers spend connects applying, hoping for an opportunity that may never be reviewed. Over time, I've lost hundreds of connects on jobs where the client never came back.

I understand that plans change and projects get delayed, but when a job is abandoned without any activity, it feels like freelancers are paying the price.

How do you handle this? Do you have a strategy for spotting inactive clients before applying, or do you simply accept it as part of using Upwork?

So we have new ministry now in NEPAL? Wtf

MINISTRY OF TRANSPORT AND LICENSE 🤡

Someone please stop this government from shipping vibe coding ai slop. This will create more chaos later. In the name of digitalisation they are doing whatever the fuck they want.

The reality - The other day I went to transport office to pay license tax, server kept going down every 3 minutes. Wasted my entire day. And they are shipping like this without any proper testing.

Is everyone OK with NCELL calling to promote services?

How is this normal?

It's almost every day for me. They keep calling with this automated call. I mean, messages were ok. Now they do real calls. It's frustrating. I would yell if it were a real person or something. F*ck u NCELLL
