PAAK coming to 2026 models?

I've read mixed things about phone as a key coming to 2026 models. I haven't seen anything regarding 2025 models. Does anyone have any real data to support it actually coming to 26 or 25 models?

Coming from a rivian with phone as a key, it's going to be hard to go back to a key fob...

ChatGPT vs Zencoder

I've written four or five apps using Zencoder in webstorm. I now use GPT to help me write the prompts for zencoder. So GPT has the core application theories and Zencoder just executes.

Is there a way to replace Zencoder with ChatGPT so I can keep everything under one roof?

I have GPT pro and Zencoder $50/MO paid tier.

Lease a 2027 or Buy a 2025

I'm currently driving a 2023 rivian r1t quad motor. My lease is up in February. I'm planning on moving to a Hummer EV truck, and then waffling between buying a 25 or leasing a 27.

I drive somewhere between 15 and 20,000 mi a year. I'm going to be paying a mileage overage on the rivian. The 2025s don't have the new infotainment hardware or software, but they do have Android auto which I've used in the past.

In y'all's opinion, which do you think is a better value buying a 2025 for something in the $70,000s or leasing a 2027?

Rivian Lease Return - How important are tires?

I have upgraded the tires on BOTH of my R1's (R1T with Sport package & R1S with Off-road package) to Michelin Defender 2's.

The original tires are different make/model (Toyo somethings on the R1T and something I don't remember on the R1S). How important is it to have the exact same tires at lease return?

Anybody have experience with this?

If anyone is considering spending ANY money with Zillow. DON'T.

I tried their Showcase platform last year, and not only did they not end my contract when they were supposed to (billed me for 2 additional months) they also have in their contracts that if you DO cancel, they remove any and all credits you have already paid for but haven't used. Which means I paid them $900 for 2 credits (the 2 credits they continued after my initial contract) that they refuse to refund and won't let me use, unless I keep my subscription active (continuing to buy more credits).

So my options are:

  1. Cancel today, eat $900
  2. Continue to be billed at whatever the current rate is month to month, which was $450 on my contract, I'm assuming more now, (adding a credit per month) until I can use any/all credits I have/acquire then cancel.

Zillow used to be a great resource for agents. We all knew they were taking our own leads and selling them back to us, but there wasn't much we could do about it. Now, it's gotten so bad that the platform is ineffective, but when you call them on it they force your hand to either eat the money you've already spent, or keep paying them (throwing good money after bad).

Long story long - do not give Zillow any of your money.
