This documentary on Apple TV gave me serious Cairn vibes. Not the climbing but there are so many parallels in the narrative story from one to the other.

Anyone else watch this?

My 50th birthday is coming next year, my wife and I discussed going on an epic trip to celebrate.

I am having trouble deciding between these contenders

• Everest Base Camp
• Inca trail or Salkatnay Trek & Machu Pichu
• Milford Track
• W trek

These are all things I want to do and hope to eventually do, but I’m having a tough time deciding on which to do first I guess.

I’m wondering if anyone can give me their experience in sleeping full time in a cab over setup.

In theory I like the idea because it separates my bed from living area. But the cons I can think of are:

getting up and down into a slim opening might get annoying. Especially in the middle of the night

The roof being so close I worry about bumping my head often

Does the AC reach all the way to the front.

Anyone know if there is a really good recording of a live show where the audio was actually mixed in correctly and not just from a camera mic?

I leave next week, woohoo! The parking and arrival at the clarion has been a weird thing to navigate. Norwegian keeps sending emails reminding us to not get their before our selected check-in window, the hotel sent a message regarding parking that said to get there 2 hours ahead.

If anyone has experience on how early they got there and what the experience was like I'd appreciate it.

For clarity, hotel email said to get there 2 hours prior to our Norwegian check in time. Here is the exact wording

"On the day of your cruise, we kindly ask that guests arrive at the hotel at least two hours prior to Norwegian Cruise Line's scheduled check-in time."

I'm currently working remotely from a car repair shop. I scheduled my day so that i have no calls during the time i'm at the repair shop. There are others here doing the same.

One person is taking full on customer service calls for what sounds like a medical insurance company, i haven't heard any specific customer info. It's more about the level of noise, they're speaking loudly and clearly as you would but it feels like this isn't the space for it.

Am i wrong for thinking this is not the place for that type of work?

I am scheduled to embark in August. I'm travelling with a bunch of friends and as i normally do when cruising with a group i attempted to link our reservations. I couldn't find the way to do it on the website, so i started a chat on the website.

The person on the chat told me that NCL doesn't do that, odd because I've definitely done it before, but I guess maybe the policy changed.

I decided to call instead, and within 3 minutes our reservations were linked. Hurray.

While I was on the call i also was going to upgrade to the Ultimate Beverage Package which was priced at $399/stateroom. When doing so the rep on the call said, "when on board only the participant can buy drinks", I asked for clarification and gave a scenario where my partner and i were apart from one another could my partner buy a drink? "No, you would have to be there with them." I didn't argue but like i'm 99.9% certain this is wrong.

So I went back to the website and started a new chat, and I got the answer that I was expecting. Both people can go get drinks separately from one another.

Are they intentionally gaslighting me? Whats happening here? How can they have so much conflicting info?

I was contacted just over two weeks ago by Synquery to do consultation about my industry.

I was asked my availability for that week. I told them Friday. They agreed but then came back and offered more money if i could do it "urgently" Thursday.

Sure, i moved some things around and made the time for the consult.

Unbeknownst to me, and definitely not discussed in any prior communication, the entire consultation interview was with an AI.

Easily the most frustrating "interview" i've ever had. The AI constantly didn't register things i said, making me repeat the answers. Or even worse would say it didn't hear me because of audio issues and then minutes later would reference the answer i gave.

I was told after the interview in an email they would pay in 1-2 weeks. I've followed up on email and on linkedin with no response.

In short, steer clear of Synquery and Ben Rosenow.

The button prompt for Takedown doesn’t work consistently.

it will show the prompt, I’ll hit the correct button and Bond will punch the goon instead of do a takedown.

It’s frustrating as I’m attempting to do a clean, stealth playthrough on Garden Party and 4-5 times now my run has ended from this bug.

I noticed a similar bug early in the game where the prompts for Hang, Climb, Vault were a little buggy and didn’t show up when ups except them too but this is much worse.

First person to guess my favorite Hum song gets the tickets.

I beat Legion yesterday and got the Eclipse Threads traverse ability , then died at some point.

On my subsequent run where I started from Biome 1 the Eclipse Threads in earlier biomes were not available for me to use.

Is this a bug or something in game that was planned to happen?
