Columbia vs Ghana Night

What an amazing night for my Nephew, he was so excited to find out he’s going to his first ever (and likely only) World Cup match. Thanks to HisenseFootballZone what an amazing night and memories.

‘16 Regal GS AWD

Looks like we are gonna be proud new owners of this car for our Son. Has some hail damage we will get fixed through a family members shop, otherwise seems to be in great condition with only 78,000 miles.

Headlights have some condensation as well so may look to get those replaced if anyone has a beat on some nice aftermarket ones. Otherwise are they same headlights you’d find on other trims? Or specific to the GS trim line?

Any 4th gen 4Runner experts here?

First, I appreciate this community, even though I don’t own a 4Runner currently I’ve wanted a 4Runner for about 20 years now but every time Ive gotten close life has gotten in the way. For the last 10 years I’ve been blessed to have a company car and not needed a personal vehicle so just hadn’t looked in a while.

I’ve been looking at this one the last few days:

2006 sr5 4wd v6
144,000mi
Pictures look super clean on inside
Asking $9,500

Looking for guidance on this one I’m interested in but it’s out of town. Before I get too invested does this seem reasonable? Midwest car so I’m expecting some rust on the under carriage and will ask for some pics, but not that worried it looks like it was garage kept based on exterior paint.

I’m willing to fly up to take a look, I have the airline miles to cover a flight, if it feels like good value. Everything I’m seeing in my town right now isn’t this clean and couple grand more, but maybe I just need to be more patient? Does make me nervous purchasing a vehicle out of town as it’s not something I’ve ever done.

Looking for any specific 4th gen questions I should ask the current owner or other advice on purchasing a vehicle out of town.

Budget standing desk build

Legs were $110 off Amazon after coupon code. Nice build, easy to put together, dual motor, 3 memory settings. So far I’m pleased.

Table top I got lucky. Floor and Tile had European White Oak 5ft slabs on sale for $139/ea. Local store had two left, one open box and one new in box. I asked manager what he would take for both and he sold them to me for $150 total for both.

Made the faux live edge with my belly cut out, routed rest of the edges lightly, sanded to 220, then used a sand sealer coat, stained with very light golden oak, then poly over it.

Very pleased for under $250, ordered a second set of legs to build second one to use the other top from Floor and Tile, hope to sell but not sure what to price it for?
