This song is way too overhated and I feel a lot of it is to do with ARIRANG not being the Love Yourself trilogy reheated like people wanted. BTS are always experimenting, thinking outside the box and trying new things. ARIRANG is their most sonically ambitious album yet. They never explore the same themes twice because they grow along with their music. Their discography is almost a diary of BTS and their growth into the 30 year olds they are now. ARIRANG is a cumulation of how they got to that point, from the hip hop beginnings in 2Cool4Skool to the ballads and pop sounds we came to know them for more recently in BE.

SWIM perfectly summed up the BTS that feels like they have to keep swimming against an ever-moving music industry that constantly drowns people in it- especially when they lost so much time in the military they had to find their place in the sea again. ARMY helped them do this and were the constant that kept them afloat, giving them the confidence to just ‘dive’ back in.

Joined the queue at 5:45 at 2000, refreshed the “opens at 6am” page at 6 and got in, only to find absolutely nothing available for any of my nearby test centres. Basically just got up ultra early for nothing. Now I’m blocked from the website because I apparently refreshed too many times.

I have a 16-25 railcard so it shouldn’t apply to trains before 10am but in the last 2 weeks or so it’s started applying the discount to ALL trains when before it didn’t. Anyone know why?

(Also typical Great Northern train between Kings Cross & Cambridge being cancelled 😭)

And my coping mechanism was to crochet a huge hunch back whale with the leftover wool from my borawhale keychain freebies 😭

Just a heads up after the Brussels concert, this is the side of the stadium (London) that gets blinded & scorched by the setting sun at THFC. It’s usually the away fans at football matches suffering in the corner 😭😭

Logged back into my Ticketmaster app as it had automatically logged me out & it keeps coming up with this notification on my ticket (I got my ticket all the way back in Jan in the army pre-sale). Anyone else getting the same thing?

Initially joined out of curiosity as I already have a ticket to see how many people would queue for London & what tickets they’d release for production, ended up getting decent queue numbers. A load were available in various places including in the 100s and 400s sections. I tried getting one of the 100s section tickets and then would sell my 500 section ticket at face value to another ARMY, however my wifi went off mid way and kicked me out so I got kicked back to 100k in the queue.

Will probably get flamed for “devaluing a collectible” or something but I know I’m going to be keeping this for myself and giving it to my grandchildren or whatever so instead of having some random ad page I thought it’d be more meaningful and fun to paint over the page and use it as a World Cup chart for all the games. (I know the team pages have them, but only up until the group stages)

Just as I predicted in my “Guide to THFC Stadium” post, Greater Anglia have added direct trains from Northumberland Park to Cambridge and London Liverpool Street & Stansted Airport both before and after the concert. Key info as this adds another option to get home, especially if you live on the Cambridge-London Liverpool Street line!
