Additional info about the NTS Radio Player from customer service

Was curious if you can cast audio from it without plugging it in to speakers and got the following:

Yes — you can plug the Atonemo NTS Radio Player into power only and use it to cast NTS to a Chromecast‑enabled speaker, without any wired audio connection.

The Atonemo NTS Radio Player supports Google Cast as a streaming protocol.

Once powered and connected to Wi‑Fi, it can cast audio (including NTS Radio and any supported streaming service) to any Chromecast‑enabled speaker or device.

This is the same mechanism you use when casting from your phone — except the Atonemo becomes the casting source.

Assumed this was the case, but nice to have confirmation. Will have it plugged in to my older hifi most of the time, but imagine this is good for travelling or taking it round someone else's home.

Just announced this week - physical device for NTS' excellent infinite mixtapes that also works as a WiFi streaming device.

Seemingly no YouTube video yet, so apologies for Instagram link, but more on their website.

It very much looks like an unnecessary but nice to have device. If you're an NTS user (and why wouldn't you be!) it seems like a fun thing to use on days you're trying to minimise screen time.

Will wait for impressions, but I think I'll order as a treat to myself!

How long to get NHS sleep study results (UK)?

I brought back my at home sleep test kit to my local hospital (London) and they said it could take between 5-6 months just for the results - which seems ridiculous.

Anyone here had their NHS test results back able to confirm roughly how long it's taking these days?

'Hide story and live from' setting no longer lists all followers?

In the last few weeks it seems to have changed - in the past it would list all followers, now it only lists a handful, and you can find the rest in the search bar.

Without going into too much detail, there are some things I like to share where it's helpful to be able to see everyone that follows, and hide certain things - and the close friends setting wouldn't be right for this either.

Is there a way to get this setting back?

Does the 201 bus currently go directly to Braemar/Ballater from Union Square?

Planning a camping trip to the Cairngorms soon and weirdly, Google Maps is telling me I'd need to get the 202 and then change and Banchory, whereas the Stagecoach website (which seems more reliable tbh!) says the 201 goes direct.

Is there a service change I'm not aware of, or is Google broken again?

I've never been asked to pay to use the app until the redesign. How was I able to avoid the paywall for so long?

I'm from the UK and never used it with a VPN, so I doubt it's anything to do with my location. Have been very out of the loop and didn't even realise most users *had* to pay for it since 2020.

Only tend to use it to meet up with locals/travellers when solo-travelling so I got a rude awakening when I tried to login last week to see if anyone in Niigata wanted to meet up.

Is it possible I might have created the account when I was abroad in a paywall-free country?

Needless to say, I won't be paying and have signed up to Couchers...
