late to the party, this thing is incredible

I’ve been enjoying Boox ereaders for the past year or so, starting with the Go Color 7 Gen 2 and gradually upgrading to recently picking up the 10.3” Note Air 6C, which I love, but I missed the portability of the smaller screen so I picked up this Xteink x4 last night for cheap on marketplace and the simplicity of the device has got me totally enamored with reading again.

Finished the book and looked up to see this

working at the mill, halfway though a twelve hour overnight shift, sitting in my chair

started House of Leaves a week ago and just after I read the last page, I lean back to just have that euphoric moment when you first finish a book that has just taken you on an incredible ride

and this is what I see.

I was jolted by this dark shape hovering above me knowing it had there been for most of the time I read this book, and having never noticed it before, for a moment wondering if it had just appeared there, I considered an exploration.

have any of you all read the book again directly after finishing? I don’t want to leave this world yet.

Considering Downsizing

would anybody be interested in either one of these devices?

Go Color 7 Gen II with pen, nibs, screen protectors, and 3 cases $400+shipping

Tab Ultra C Pro with pen and case $350+shipping — SOLD

I don’t need both and am honestly split on which one to keep.

US Shipping Only, sorry to those across the pond

What Can I Do To Help?

I'm 40/m and have lived in Appleton for like 8 years and still haven't made any real friends or connections. I'm super introverted and self-conscious but I have a strong desire to help people in need. I thought maybe I could find some like-minded people to maybe connect with if I pursue something that would help the community. Any suggestions?
