So I noticed my OSAR-D 46mm wasn’t keeping time longer than 24-48 hours, it seems they stated about 72 but the movement states about a 40-60ish hour reserve. I worse this watch all weekend and yesterday. I took it off last night and went to put it on and it was dead. Shook it some, pulled the crown and adjusted time to see if it would start, and then did about320 (half) twists of the crown, nothing.

You can hear the rotor rotating, you can hear the winding on the stop, but no other noise. Anyone have any suggestions? I’d hate to think this thing died in less than a year but it may have to take a vacation back to marathon.

It’s finally here and I’m glad I was able to secure one. Figured I’d put some of my other Alox Models (red/white/blue/ti scale) in the pic.

I’m not sure if it’s anodized? You can see how the color transitions from red to blue, with some slight purple between the two. If anodized, I didn’t know you could anodize a graphic like this. Interesting none the less.

Little sketch to hang out at the pool with thunder rumbling, but had to go when the lightning showed up! 😂 also, slightly sketch if you have any of these plastic red cups in your drawer.

Enjoyed my JDD the last couple nights while camping. It’s that time right after dusk and into the night where this watch really stays bright when your eyes adjust. My buddy was like, dang your watch still glows this late? I was like yup, it will be this bright for many years. I said the lumed watches will be bright at first but after a couple hours, tritium is much more appreciated. Now he’s looking for a watch with tritium. 😂

A buddy liked my wingman I had in my tackle box. He showed me his old Leatherman. I was like, that’s cool, I don’t have an older model. He said you want to trade? I said sure, I grabbed several of these when they were on sale one year for $29.99 at Home Depot.

It was made on 0596, looks like a PST II, but it doesn’t have a marking of what model it is. I thought they had pocket survival tool or PST II embossed in the handles? The file has the fish hook groove, but I thought someone did it themselves as it’s a wavy groove (pic makes it look better than it is in person).
