I have my right side mirror set to tilt down when in reverse. After software update it won’t return to position when going back into drive. Anyone have a fix?
Does anybody have a 3D print design for a wall mount for this modem? Does anybody know the original manufacturer name/model for it so I can look up possible 3d printer files online?
This isn’t exactly TR (it’s HS), but just wanted to share this with everyone. DO NOT take jobs from a client who wants to decide for you that something is simple or not complicated and shouldn’t take very long.
Keep in mind they also chose the wrong job category. General contractor category normally comes with an $88+tax lead fee (homeowners are not told this upfront).
They are either:
Masquerading as knowledgeable to pre-empt actual rip off quotes
Basically looking for charity
Doing
the expectations management when you should be the one doing so.
My take? Electrician abandoned the job because client was likely a monster. Because that is not how I would leave a pendant light with a mounting plate protruding from the side of the junction box cover.
If it’s so simple, it really begs the question: “why don’t you do it yourself?”
Just a PSA that it seems that the option to use Google Gemini instead of Google Assistant only exists if you set your language settings the English (U.S.). It will not work with English (Canada) or French (Canada).
Also, if you opt to use Gemini instead, it will still help with in-vehicle functions and to control things like cliamte control, seat ventilation and heat, and steering wheel heat,and feature navigation, but you lose the ability to give commands for your smart home devices from your car. To do this, you will have to go to Settings > Google Services and Preferences > Good Assistant > Switch to Use Google Assistant / Switch to Use Gemini.
I find I prefer to not use Gemini and use assistant to control my smart home devices while driving while opting to keep Gemini a phone-only feature.
Is it just me or is the font way bigger now and everything easier to see? It doesn’t also warp when you adjust the height up to near max anymore.
Brought my vehicle in for the safety recall and software updates this week. They had an axle on the rack to warranty replace for me but they ultimately opted not to saying that even with the most recent axle revision that the clicking was returning for other customers. They said it’s better to wait for another revision if it’s not bothering me too much right now.
So I recently got around to trying to schedule my safety recall appointment here in Metro Vancouver and was told by one dealer they needed to wait to see when they be like get me a loaner vehicle because they’d need it for two days, and another told me they had a waitlist for it because they’re still waiting on instructions from Honda Canada because apparently they want to push additional updates to people now that goes beyond those they have been doing the recall appointments for previously. Anyone have any insight into this?
