The Hunger Games from Snow's perspective is actually pretty funny

The original trilogy is so much funnier because Snow was f****** enraged with Katniss because of Lucy Gray because of his 60-year-old situationship that ended 60 years after he attempted to kill Lucy Gray like imagine making an entire country a living hell for 60 years all because your ex situation ship did not want to be a caged bird for you 😭 and then he takes it out for the next 60 years on District 12 and I'm pretty sure he's the reason District 12 didn't have any more victorious I think he tried to make sure that all victors from 12 died in the arena and part of the reason he had a grudge against Haymitch and Katniss wasn't just that they rebelled against him which is already unforgivable but they rebelled against him and were from 12 he never truly saw Katniss he saw Lucy Gray and that it.

It's also realistic as there is many dictatorships that start out of incredibly petty reasons.

Do you think the show would be good if it revolved around Dana

I feel like if the show is going to revolve around anyone, it should be the charge nurse, the one who runs the entire emergency department on her back. I mean, Robbie does as well, but she runs everything while he handles the medical side of everything. All the technical parts of the ER are handled by her: nursing, residents, etc. She's the mitochondria of the emergency department because from her perspective, you can see all the other characters a lot more than just focusing on one person due to the amount of people she interacts with on a given day. I absolutely love her stories on the show. As a chronically ill individual, nurses are honestly angels, and I owe my life to them. Not that I don't love doctors, but nurses take care of you even when they see dozens of people every day and multiple people die. They still are that caring and gentle.

As a disabled person I really hope they show more chronic illnesses in the ER and the gas lighting we have to go through I wish more people understood how hard it is

Anyone here read the books in Northern or Southern Appalachia

I lived in central Northern Alabama at the time I remember reading the book at Boy scout camp deep in the woods it was particularly powerful to read it then but weirdly it made the books feel like home and that was very comforting at the time for me when I was 14 and in a very deep depression.

Does anyone here have a hard time finishing season 7 and 8 due to the amount of times they screw over Bonnie and f****** the writing

Like the order I get it's harder to watch the writing be butchered I'm not trying to s*** on people who love season 7 and 8 I'm glad you love it and perhaps you can give me pointers on why I should love it too because my memory of the seasons then me actually going through and rewatching them as someone in their late 20s compared to my teens the more I rewatch this the more I appreciate the fifth season of the originals it could have been much much worse I'm actually excited to bump over and start the originals and actually enjoy better writing that doesn't have a ton of loopholes up until the end of season 4 and season 5.

Again if you love these seasons I love that maybe you can tell me why I should love them I do honestly love Bonnie and Enzo they're so cute together and makes me hate being single lmao Bonnie was so happy man 😭 by the way due to the amount of times they were f****** up the writing not f****** the writing

The writers really did a disservice to Damon's character

I'm currently rewatching season 7 and I just realized a moment where they could have shown Damon have a true moment of growth where he allows himself to become infected with the Hunter's Mark so that Stefan and Caroline can actually be happy would have been an amazing moment in which Damon actually was forced to put his brother before himself for the first time and it could have been the first of many moments where he done similar and Damon could have actually had a rehabilitation Arc where he actually becomes a better person and that Elena is amazed at his transformation at the end of the series but nope they made Stefan take it.

What would you have thought if things went down this way

Bonnie and Damon

Stefan and Elena

Tyler and Caroline

This is all in good faith, so please don’t downvote me into oblivion those of you who love Damon and Elena, or Klaus and Caroline. It’s been nearly a decade since the show ended; you don’t have to act so rabid. This is just a simple adult disagreement.

My issue with Caroline and Klaus is that Caroline met Klaus when he tried to kill her. He was going to sacrifice her in his ritual, and then he had Tyler bite her before they ever developed a thing. Plus, he’s in his twenties and she’s a 17-year-old girl. It’s like shipping her with Damonit’s shipping a girl with someone who abused her, and that’s not okay.

Yeah, I understand that he hurt Bonnie too he’s the reason her grams died. But the way Bonnie and Damon came together felt natural, not like two characters being pushed together (unlike Stefan and Caroline, or Damon and Elena). Honestly, Bonnie and Damon is one of the only relationships that isn’t totally toxic, because she never lets him get away with his bullshit. And I absolutely loved that. Damon could have had a proper redemption story one that actually redeemed him. Bonnie reminded me of how Cami was with Klaus, and that’s what these men need: people constantly calling out their bullshit and holding them accountable for their actions. And my god, did Bonnie serve that purpose. The chemistry was so good.

And honestly, I just like Stefan and Elena together. I genuinely really love that relationship it was so cute and, in terms of the show, healthy. I also love Stefan and Valerie. I think those two are great together.

Like the older I get the more I cannot stand the ships this show ended with because it's so f****** toxic and then we got to see somewhat better in the originals and we got to see what it could have looked like in the vampire diaries like Klaus and Cami was so perfectly written as someone who has BPD it was the first time I realized I could have a lover who truly loved me and saw me for who I was because my personality is very much like his you know without killing and slaughtering innocent people and at the time I was low functioning my walls had knife marks in them and I just was not in a good place mentally and I don't know something about seeing those two together gave me hope LMFAO that's not a pun.

Does anybody else pretend in the early seasons that Rick is not played by Matt and you just kind of exist like the actor doesn't exist outside of the show only way I can watch his scenes

Hey what are red flags that you look out for in the heat that you need to get out of the heat ASAP I almost just passed out lmao

I just went to pridefest I'm a 28 year old man and I tried keeping a solid eye on my autonomic dysfunction I had ice I had little fans on me I was being very conscious of staying out of the sun and was frequently pouring cold water on me but I still didn't realize how close I was to passing out so for those of you who are older what signs do you look for that you need to get out of the heat ASAP

I love when Elena says "I've been in their shoes and I was just as bad" when she was actually way worse than Caroline....

I'm watching her walk through the hospital with Joe talking about how much she wishes to be human and feeling depressed over the fact that she'll never be able to have a human life and she says she's not surprised about the victims because she was just as bad and I was like honey no you weren't just as bad you were far worse and even more of bitch than Caroline...both of them are nothing comparison to Stefan but Elena honey you killed a waitress just because Damon wouldn't stop annoying you and was going to kill Caroline

This is my head cannon on what is going to eventually happen with the remaining siblings

In my mind, Freya would eventually attach her and her wife’s life to one of her siblings. I think she will probably stay alive until Kol dies, because I always expected that Rebekah would take the cure, and then she would live a full life. When she died, Kol would take the cure next so he could live a full human life with Davina. He’d probably attach her life to his so she can live longer until then. I think they will all end up dying of old age, because she will begin to age normally the moment Kol becomes human again — or she will live as long as her children live. I doubt she would want to outlive them, but there absolutely could be a new show with the new generation of Mikaelsons. Seriously, it’s going to be interesting to see the cousins together as a family, as they will inherit everything from their parents, including their enemies. But they would always have Hope. And in my mind, I actually imagine her having at least three kids, and of course her children will be like her.

But in the end I would expect the entire family to be reunited in peace as I do believe hope will die one day I don't think vampirism is forever all vampires will die one day that messages pretty clear from both shows you can outrun death forever.

And if there ever is a new show, Julie needs to be kept as far away from it as possible.

The one thing I've noticed between both shows is

What brings death into a vampire's life isn't necessarily that they're dead, but because they're trying to outrun death. It's not because there's something about them being dead-it's because they outrun death and think that they'll be immortal and live forever, when the entire point the shows try to drive home is that nothing is beyond death and everything has to have a way to die. The natural order cannot be bent. I think it's vampires trying to outrun the natural order that brings death into their lives. If they continue to live and have control, like Caroline does, they can live for centuries relatively comfortably. But the moment they try to live like they're beyond humans is what does them in inevitably. The Mikaelsons, especially in season 3, are basically a family that has lived for over a thousand years trying once again to outrun death, when nature makes it clear over and over again throughout the series that nothing is beyond death. The moment we entered this world, we were destined for death. And I truly do not think vampirism or immortality changes that, because Silas and Amara were considered immortal, but they still died at the end of the day. Yeah, it may have taken 3,000 years, but they died. Hope will die. Caroline will die. They all will, because nothing is beyond death. Nothing is beyond the natural order. And in both shows, we see them trying to outrun it.

I mean it's the second law of thermal dynamics entropy and death will always win in the end so the only way to live well is to embrace your death embrace that it will end I think a vampires did that a lot of what happens to them wouldn't happen.

At the end of the day vampirism is nothing more than a curse of the hubris of man a testament that we all have these traits we all wish to outrun death but the truth is no one can even vampires will die one day Caroline will die all the remaining vampires will inevitably die I think Klaus knew this himself he said so in season 3 episode 19 where he told cami he too will join her in death one day he was aware that he would die one day and honestly other than Finn I think he was the only one who ever really acknowledged their own mortality Elijah Rebecca certainly never did and I imagine Mikael knew this more than any of his children.

The sum it up for anyone confused basically what brings death into their lives is the ideal that they can live forever not that they can't die like regular humans but rather acting like there will never be a moment in which they die that is what brings pain into their life because it's the same for humans the moment you buy into your own hubris you will fall we've seen this time and time again in history the older I get the more this message becomes pronounced and I really wish they would have explored this other than exploring romances because in hindsight that's really boring and a waste of the concept of the universe

What's the worst thing Marcel has done?

Rebeka's was Infected Genevieve with the Spanish Influenza, then compelled the nurses to lock her up until she died

Klaus Got angry at a woman with pneumonia for coughing too loudly. So he turned her and her daughter. Then forced the girl to watch as he burned her mother to death.

Elijah's was Compelling Lucien, Tristan and Aurora to believe they were the Mikaelson Siblings. For 115 years they lived a life on the run from Mikael. Being used as nothing but bait until the compulsion was ripped from them.

Kols Emotionally torturing and forcing Marcel to embrace the bloodshed. killed so many people at that time for his entertainment too

Freya Condemned Davina to a fate worse than death (she knew) for the sake of her family.
