I've recently discovered a new way to enter lucid dreams, although it's still very unstable.

I think it involves hypnagogic hallucinations. Basically, when I'm just starting to fall asleep, I can "open my eyes" and experience what feels like the real world. The strange part is that I still feel completely awake and aware that I'm actually dreaming.

Last night, for example, I got out of bed and walked onto my balcony because there was a huge thunderstorm. I even started waving a chair around and shouting to make more lightning appear. After a short time, the dream faded away.

Then I actually woke up, got out of bed for real, looked outside... and it was a perfectly clear night with no storm at all.

Has anyone else experienced something like this?

Je cherche des idées d'énigmes ou de charades pour aider des amis qui tiennent une fromagerie-charcuterie dans une station de ski.

Je suis photographe et je rencontre beaucoup de touristes chaque jour. Après leur shooting, je leur note une petite énigme sur leur ticket photo. S'ils trouvent la réponse, ils obtiennent une réduction sur leur commande dans le magasin. L'idée est de faire quelque chose d'amusant qui donne envie d'aller les voir.

Le magasin s'appelle Montagne et Abondances. J'aimerais trouver une énigme simple ou une charade en rapport avec :

le fromage,

la charcuterie,

la montagne,

ou le nom du magasin.

Par exemple, j'avais déjà fait ça pour un café qui s'appelait Monkey Coffee. Mon énigme était :

"I love monkey without potassium."

La réponse était : >! I love money !<

Est-ce que vous auriez des idées dans le même esprit ? Les jeux de mots en français comme en anglais sont les bienvenus !

What truly distinguishes Homo sapiens from other Homo species?

Was it the use of fire, more advanced tools, burial of the dead, symbolic thinking, language, social organization, or mainly genetic differences?

Many of these traits seem to have existed before Homo sapiens, at least to some extent. So what do anthropologists currently consider the most important difference between Homo sapiens and other human species such as Neanderthals or Homo erectus?
